7/1 @2:16 p.m. –  A retail theft of alcohol was reported at Walgreens. Two suspects were identified with the assistance of the public and our JPD Facebook page. Charges are pending.

7/3 @2:18 p.m. – A retail theft of alcohol was reported at Piggly Wiggly. This was unrelated to the Walgreens theft. A suspect was identified and with the assistance of the public and our JPD Facebook page.

7/8 @3:00 PM – An adult woman was arrested for identity theft for stealing and victim’s debit card. A Request for charges for two counts of identity theft were sent to the DA’s office.

7/12 @9:00 p.m. – A retail theft was reported at Piggly Wiggly.  Two suspects stole over $1,000 of alcohol. This was unrelated to the first two thefts. Two suspects were identified with the assistance of the public and our JPD Facebook page. Charges are pending.

7/26 @6:00 p.m. – A report was made regarding stalking and harassment. An adult male was identified and arrested for multiple offenses.

7/27 @9:04 p.m. – An adult experiencing a mental health emergency was taken into protective custody.
