3/3 – A caller reported two suspicious people at a local restaurant that appeared to be under the influence. Evidence of drug use was located in their vehicle. An adult male was arrested for Operating While Under the Influence (OWI, 2nd offense) and cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.

3/4- A theft in progress was reported at the Main Street Mart. An adult male placed three large bottles of alcohol in his pants and fled the store. Officers located him near McDonald’s, and he was taken into custody. A search of his property revealed stolen property from Walgreens. The man was issued several citations.

3/5- An officer on patrol stopped a vehicle for a seatbelt violation. The officer could smell the odor of burnt marijuana in the vehicle. The driver turned over a small amount of marijuana and a pipe. He was arrested for operating with a detectable amount of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

3/6- An adult woman was arrested for obstructing and bail jumping.

3/14- Officers responded to a report that two adults were fighting and that shots had been fired. An adult man was detonating shotgun shells with a vice and household tools and demanded that officers shoot him. He was taken into custody and charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. Additional charges are pending related to the possession of ammunition by a felon.

3/15- Officers responded to a report of an impaired driver on Main Street. The male driver was located and had been drinking. He had four passengers in the vehicle that were under the age of 12. He was arrested for Operating While Under the Influence (OWI, 4th Offense) with minor passengers and taken to jail.

3/15- An adult woman was cited for battery after she punched another adult woman in the face.
