8/1 at 3:25 a.m. – An officer on patrol observed a suspicious vehicle operating near Living Word Lane. The officer stopped the vehicle and the driver was found to be intoxicated (PBT .154). The driver was on parole for seven prior operating while under the influence (OWI) charges. The driver refused the blood draw and a search warrant was obtained. The driver was eventually transported to the Washington County Jail and charged with OWI 8th offense.

8/2 – An officer on patrol initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle that was displaying the wrong license plates. The driver had a revoked driver’s license and two warrants for his arrest. He was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail.

8/4 – Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance between two adults. An adult woman was injured during the disturbance. When officers arrived on scene, they discovered that the male suspect had fled. He was eventually located and arrested for domestic battery and felony bail jumping.

8/5 at 11:33 a.m. – Officers responded to a report of a robbery at Walgreens. The suspect implied he had a weapon and left with a cash drawer with an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect fled southbound on Highway 45 in a black four-door sedan. The Jackson Police Department issued a crime alert to neighboring law enforcement agencies requesting assistance with locating and identifying the robbery suspect. On Thursday, August 6, 2020 the Milwaukee Police Department located and arrested the robbery suspect. The suspect is a 30-year-old Delafield man. He is in custody and charges have been referred to the Washington County District Attorney’s Office. We are grateful for the assistance from the Milwaukee Police Department.
8/7 at 9:56 p.m. – An officer on patrol noticed a vehicle being operated without any functioning taillights. The officer stopped the vehicle and could smell the odor of intoxicants. The driver was arrested for OWI (1st) (PBT .109).
8/9 – A motorcycle crash was reported in the marshy area near Eagle Drive. The driver fled into the woods but was later located. Charges were referred to the District Attorney’s Office.
8/14 – Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance between two adult men. The suspect admitted to punching his roommate in the face after an argument. The suspect was arrested for domestic battery.

8/18 – An adult was taken into protective custody.

8/20 An adult was taken into protective custody.

8/20- Another adult was taken into protective custody.

8/21 at 2:31 a.m. – An officer on patrol observed a vehicle operating without any functioning taillights. The officer stopped the vehicle and could smell the odor of intoxicants. The driver was arrested for OWI (1st) (PBT .19).

8/23 at 3:50 a.m. – An officer on patrol observed a vehicle that was deviating from its lane. The officer stopped the vehicle and could smell the odor of intoxicants. The driver was arrested for OWI (3rd) (refused PBT). An additional charge was filed for failing to install an ignition interlock device (IID).

8/27 – Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance which resulted in injuries to an adult woman. The suspect was arrested for strangulation, battery, criminal damage to property, disorderly conduct and felony bail jumping.

The Jackson Police Department has concluded the missing persons investigation related to the July 27, 2020 disappearance of Stephen Lombard. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a 34-year-old Town of Addison man in connection with this investigation. Stephen Lombard was last seen by his mother leaving their residence in the Village of Jackson in the company of the 34-year-old Town of Addison man in the early evening of July 27th.
The Village of Jackson Police Department led the original missing person investigation and was later assisted by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office as well as the Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigations. Officer Jennifer Gerke invested many hours of dedicated service to seek closure for the family with this case. We greatly appreciate the assistance and resources provided by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and the Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI).
