12/3 @ 2:05 a.m. – Officer Andrew Mueller, while on patrol Thursday morning, spotted an injured snowy owl in the middle of CTH P near Hasmer Lake. With the assistance of other officers, the owl was able to be corralled and transported to Wanakia Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center in Richfield.

12/6 @ 9:10 p.m.- An officer on patrol observed a speeding vehicle on Hickory Lane. The officer stopped the vehicle and noticed that the driver had been drinking. The driver failed a field sobriety test (PBT .222) and was arrested for operating while under the influence (3rd offense).

12/7 @ 10:27 p.m.- An officer on patrol observed a vehicle travelling at 94-m.p.h. in a 70-m.p.h. zone. The driver didn’t immediately stop when the officer activated the squad car’s emergency lights. The vehicle finally stopped several miles south of the village. The driver identified himself as someone else, but the officer was able to determine his identity. The man was arrested for two outstanding warrants through Waukesha County and cited for speeding, operating while suspended, and unsafe lane deviation.

12/8 @ 9:41 p.m., a passer-by reported a woman laying in a snowbank by the roundabout on Main Street at Hwy 45. An officer located the 88-year-old woman that was injured and disoriented. Jackson Rescue responded and transported her to a local hospital.

12/11@ 7:55 p.m.- Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at a residence. An adult male was arrested for three counts of domestic-related disorderly conduct, domestic battery, two warrants and resisting/obstructing an officer. He was transported to the Washington County Jail.

12/11 – After a lengthy investigation, the Jackson Police Department served a search warrant on Friday, December 11 at a residence in the Village. An adult male was taken into custody and multiple items of suspected child pornography were located. Charges are pending at the Washington County District Attorney’s Office. We were assisted at the scene by the Wisconsin Department of Justice- Division of Criminal Investigation.

12/15- Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance between an adult woman and her adult son. The adult woman was arrested for domestic-related battery and felony bail jumping.

12/18 @ 12:26 p.m.- An officer was sent to a local fast-food restaurant for a report of a driver that had just gone through the drive-through and then passed out in her vehicle. The officer located the woman and noticed an open beer can in a cupholder. The woman was arrested for operating while under the influence (3rd offense), operating after revocation, failure to install ignition interlock device and misdemeanor bail jumping.

12/21 @ 1:28 p.m.- The same driver from the fast-food restaurant incident was again observed driving with a revoked driver’s license. She was again cited for operating after revocation and failure to install an ignition interlock device.

12/22 @ 11:31 p.m. – An officer on patrol observed a vehicle being operated without taillights. The officer stopped the vehicle and determined that the driver had multiple warrants for his arrest. The driver was cited for operating while suspended and arrested for the warrants.

12/25 – Officers were sent to a residence to investigate a report of a domestic disturbance. An adult male was arrested to domestic-related disorderly conduct.

12/26 – Officers responded to a report of a physical fight between two adult males. One of the males sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital. This matter is under investigation.

12/29 – Officers assisted an adult that required protective custody placement.

12/30 @ 12:22 a.m.- Officers were called to a local business after an employee was found to be under the influence. The suspect had five open criminal cases which required her to maintain absolute sobriety. The adult woman resisted arrest while trying to hide a crack pipe. She was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail. Charges have been requested for possession of drug paraphernalia and five counts of bail jumping.
