February 2021 Activity Report

2/4 @ 4:33 p.m.- A hit and run crash was reported in the Cedar Parkway roundabout. The suspect vehicle fled the scene but was located by a responding officer. The driver that had fled the scene was cited for driving too fast for conditions and hit and run.

2/12 @ 10:15 a.m.- A resident reported a computer scam. The victim had received a fraudulent email from a computer security company asking her to pay $199 to renew her subscription. The victim was tricked into sending $1,500 in gift cards to the scammer. This matter is under investigation.

2/13 @ 8:51 p.m. – Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance. An adult woman was arrested for domestic-related disorderly conduct and a probation hold.

2/14 @ 6:50 p.m.- Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance. An adult woman was arrested for domestic-related disorderly conduct.

2/15 @ 1:49 p.m. – An adult male was arrested for two outstanding warrants and a probation hold.

2/15 @ 4:27 p.m.- An officer responded to a call regarding a suspicious adult woman at a local gas station. The woman had a warrant for her arrest through the Department of Corrections. She was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail.

2/16- Officers took a resident into protective custody.

2/17 @ 5:21 p.m.- An officer stopped a vehicle that nearly caused a crash in the roundabout near Highway 45. The driver pulled over, handed his driver’s license to the officer, and then admitted to possessing drug paraphernalia under his seat. When the officer asked him to step out of the vehicle, the driver fled at a high rate of speed. A very short pursuit ensued, and the driver eventually pulled over after .4 miles and surrendered. Inside the vehicle officers located marijuana, prescription pills, drug paraphernalia and a white powdery substance. The driver was arrested, and multiple charges were filed with the Washington County District Attorney’s Office.

2/19 @ An officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver provided a false name and then fled the traffic stop at a high rate of speed. A short chase ensued which was terminated by the officer. The officer was able to identify the driver and he was later arrested, and multiple charges were filed with the Washington County District Attorney’s Office.

2/19- A local business reported the theft of pallets. This matter is under investigation.

2/19 @ 7:11 p.m. – Staff at a local hotel contacted the police department due to two guests that had made inappropriate comments to an 11-year-old girl. An adult male was arrested for a probation violation. An adult female was cited for disorderly conduct.

2/19 @ 9:00 p.m. – Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance. An adult male was arrested for domestic-related disorderly conduct.

2/21 – Officers responded to a report of an adult male that had overdosed on heroin. Medical attention was provided, and the man was then arrested for a probation violation. Officers located multiple controlled substances and charges were referred to the Washington County District Attorney’s Office.

2/22 @ 10:11 a.m.- An officer observed a vehicle travelling over 55 m.p.h. in a 35-m.p.h. zone. When the officer stopped the car, the driver was observed to be under the influence of intoxicants (PBT .248). The driver was arrested for operating while under the influence (1st offense) and speeding.

2/24 @ 2:11 a.m.- The West Bend Police Department requested our assistance while pursuing a fleeing vehicle southbound on Highway 45. The Jackson officer successfully deployed spike strips which punctured the tires of the fleeing vehicle and brought the pursuit to a stop. The suspects were taken into custody by the West Bend Police Department.

2/24 @ 4:06 p.m.- An adult male was taken into custody for an outstanding Waukesha County warrant.

2/24 @ 6:32 p.m.- A complaint was received of a vehicle driving on STH 60 with a flat tire. An officer located the vehicle. A passenger provided a false name. When her real identity was determined, we learned that she had two outstanding warrants for her arrest. She was arrested and transported to the jail.

2/24 @ 5:08 p.m. – A retail theft complaint was received from Walgreens. An adult female stole three bottles of perfume valued at $198.37. This matter is under investigation.

2/26 @ 2:15 p.m. – Officers responded to a local manufacturing facility for a report of a truck driver that had armed himself with a knife. Upon arrival, officers diffused an argument which had occurred between two adult men. One adult man was cited for disorderly conduct.

2/28- Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance. An adult male was arrested for violating a domestic abuse injunction. An adult female was arrested for domestic-related disorderly conduct.
