5/3 @ 8:54 p.m. – A tip was received regarding an adult male with a felony warrant. The man was located at his residence and taken into custody.

5/5 @ 10:00 p.m.- A resident reported the theft of jewelry valued at $7,635.00 from her residence. This matter is under investigation.

5/6 @ 12:38 a.m.- A vehicle was observed driving erratically. An officer stopped the vehicle and the driver admitted to drinking one beer. There was an open beer on the passenger seat and 11 empty beer cans in the vehicle. The driver was arrested for operating while intoxicated (1st offense, PBT .248). She was also cited for operating left of center and possession of open intoxicants in a motor vehicle.

5/6- A resident reported damage to a boat cover during the overnight hours. The trolling motor on the boat was also damaged. This matter is under investigation.

5/6 @ 4:19 p.m.- A hit and run crash was reported. A resident reported that her vehicle was struck while it was parked in her driveway. The suspect vehicle was located, and the driver admitted to striking the vehicle three hours earlier. Driver cited for no insurance and hit and run.

5/6 @ 6:39 p.m.- An officer stopped a vehicle that had unauthorized registration plates on it. The driver did not have a valid driver’s license or insurance on the vehicle. The officer observed multiple items of drug paraphernalia in plain view in the vehicle. The officer searched the vehicle and located a small amount of cocaine, in addition to the drug paraphernalia. The man was on probation, but the Department of Corrections declined to place a hold on him. He was cited for operating without a driver’s license, displaying unauthorized registration, possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia. A charge was referred to the Washington County District Attorney’s Office for possession of cocaine.

5/8 @ 1:06 a.m.- A vehicle was stopped after driving erratically. The driver appeared to be under the influence of intoxicants and believed he was in De Pere. The man denied drinking (PBT .239). The man was arrested for operating while under the influence ( 1st offense), and became uncooperative with the officer. While being transported to the jail, he banged his head against the plexiglass window in the squad car. He was eventually transferred to the custody of the jail and cited for operating while under the influence and operating left of center.

5/8 @ 6:19 p.m.- An officer stopped a vehicle for registration and equipment violations. The driver had two cans of “THC skittles” in the vehicle. He was cited for possession of THC (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

5/10 @ 12:54 p.m.- A 34-year-old Milwaukee man fled police contact and crashed at a high rate of speed on Main Street at the Cedar Parkway roundabout. The driver then fled the scene on foot leaving behind a seriously injured adult female and an unrestrained baby in the vehicle. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office located the man hiding in the marshy area with the assistance of a drone and a K9. He was taken into custody. The crash investigation was completed by our department.

5/10 @ 8:33 p.m.- A domestic disturbance was reported between two adults. An adult male was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct and domestic battery.

5/17- Officers investigated a report of child neglect after it was learned that a 7-year-old was being left home alone each night. This matter is under investigation.

5/17 @ 7:29 p.m.- Staff worked extensively on a missing juvenile case that originated in Jackson and resulted in an Amber Alert being issued in Northern Wisconsin. A 13-year-old Saukville girl was last seen in the Village of Jackson on 5/16, and was found safe in Menomonie, Wisconsin on 5/17. Detective Foeger worked with multiple agencies throughout Wisconsin to investigate this matter. A 19-year-old Saukville man that accompanied the girl to Menomonie is in custody and charges are pending with the Washington County District Attorney’s Office for felony bail jumping, intentionally contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and interfering with child custody.

5/18 @ 12:32 a.m.- An officer observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed on County Trunk P. The officer stopped the vehicle and the driver appeared to be under the influence. Prior to starting field testing, the driver threw a baggie of marijuana towards the ditch. The driver was arrested for operating while intoxicated (1st offense, PBT .179). Also cited for possession of THC, open intoxicants in motor vehicle, and speeding.

5/21 @ 7:38 p.m.- An adult male was referred to the District Attorney’s Office for bail jumping after impersonating another person to harass his ex-girlfriend, who he is prohibited from contacting due to a court order.

5/22 @ 9:51 p.m. – A probation violation was reported after an adult male got into an argument with an adult female that he was prohibited from seeing. The male suspect fled the scene in a vehicle and initially did not stop. He eventually pulled over and was taken into custody for a probation hold.

5/25 @ 3:55 p.m.- An adult male was taken into custody during a traffic stop. The man had active warrants for his arrest through Sheboygan County. He was turned over to the custody of Sheboygan County.

5/27 @ 10:06 a.m.- JPD received notification that a stolen license plate was on a vehicle at a local motel. The person in possession of the license plate was cited for receiving stolen property and the plate was recovered. The driver of the vehicle was issued several traffic citations.

5/29 @ 3:45 p.m.- West Bend PD asked us to attempt to locate a vehicle that was involved in a retail theft in their city. A JPD officer located the vehicle and arrested the driver for two counts of felony bail jumping and 11 valid arrest warrants. The adult male passenger was also taken into custody and turned over to West Bend PD for their retail theft investigation.

5/31 @ 2:43 a.m.- An officer stopped a vehicle for speeding (42/25). The driver was under the influence of alcohol (PBT .146). He was arrested for operating while under the influence (1st offense).
