9/3 @ 12:59 a.m.- A possible domestic dispute was reported after two adults were overheard arguing at a local hotel. A 31-year-old Chicago woman left the scene prior to officers’ arrival. She was stopped by the Slinger Police Department and arrested for operating while under the influence (1st). The allegations of domestic violence we investigated, and the parties warned for disorderly conduct.

9/7 @ 3:26 p.m.- An officer stopped a vehicle due to the driver having a warrant for his arrest. The driver, a 34-year-old Milwaukee man, provided the officer with a false name and attempted to flee, but ultimately complied with the officers’ warnings. The man was taken into custody for a Milwaukee County felony warrant.

9/8 @ 4:02 p.m.- We received a complaint from the Wisconsin Elections Commission that a convicted felon (currently on supervision) had voted in the Fall 2020 presidential election. The allegation was investigated, and a charge was referred to the Washington County District Attorney’s Office for election fraud against the 42-year-old Jackson man.

9/8 @ 7:32 p.m.- An officer stopped a vehicle for not having brake lamps. The driver did not have a valid driver’s license and had a warrant out of Fond du Lac County for failure to appear in court. The 30-year-old Fond du Lac woman was taken into custody and cited for operating without a valid driver’s license.

9/10 @ 3:41 p.m.- An officer stopped a vehicle due to suspended registration. The driver, a 35-year-old Jackson woman, provided information to the officer that didn’t make sense. Germantown PD’s K9 Unit responded to the scene and the dog indicated on the vehicle. Officers located methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. The woman was arrested, and charges referred for possession of methamphetamine, two counts of misdemeanor bail jumping, possession of THC (marijuana), and possession of drug paraphernalia.

9/11 @ 11:15 p.m.- Germantown Police requested assistance with a traffic pursuit headed towards the Village. The suspect vehicle exited Highway 45 onto State Highway 60 and crashed into a marshy area. The driver, a 25-year-old Milwaukee man, and passenger, a 27-year-old Milwaukee man, fled the scene of the crash on foot. Both men were eventually located, taken into custody, and turned over to the custody of the Germantown Police Department. A Jackson officer handled the crash investigation and cited the driver for several traffic-related violations.

9/12 – An officer responded to a report of a physical domestic disturbance. A 31-year-old Jackson man was arrested for domestic-related disorderly conduct and transported to the jail.

9/16 @ 11:21 p.m.- An officer on patrol stopped a vehicle for a defective headlamp. The driver, a 30-year-old West Bend man, is a registered sex offender and is prohibited from being in the company of anyone under 18. There was a minor female in the vehicle. The driver was arrested for a probation violation and taken to jail.

9/20 @ 5:15 a.m.- The Washington County Sheriff’s Office requested that we respond to a crash on Highway 45 near Sherman Road. Officer DeMaa immediately responded and located the crash. The driver appeared to be unconscious in the vehicle. Officer DeMaa broke out the rear window of the vehicle and the driver received immediate critical care. The driver was transported to a hospital but ultimately died. This investigation was turned over to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

9/28 @ 12:57 a.m.- An officer observed a vehicle travelling 103-m.p.h. in a 70-m.p.h. zone. The officer stopped the vehicle and immediately smelled the odor of raw marijuana. A search of the vehicle revealed individually packaged bags of marijuana totaling just under 100 grams, and a digital scale. A 17-year-old West Bend man was taken into custody and charges referred for possession with intent to deliver marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. The driver was cited for speeding.

9/29 @ 8:35 a.m.- A 25-year-old Menomonee Falls man was taken into custody for two Waukesha County warrants. The man was transported to the Washington County Jail.
