12/4 @ 3:30 a.m.- A suspicious vehicle was reported on Glen Brooke Drive. An officer located the vehicle as it pulled into a driveway. The driver, a 40-year-old Jackson man admitted to being involved in a road rage incident and alleged that the other driver pointed a gun at him. The man was under the influence and was arrested for operating while under the influence (1st offense, pbt refused), and for a warrant through the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.
12/6 @ 2:51 a.m.- A 25-year-old Saukville man who had walked away from Huber work release in Ozaukee County was located at a residence on Ridgeway Drive. The man presented Officer Oswald with a fake identification card. The man shoved a deputy and ran out of the apartment building. The officers quickly captured him and took him into custody. He was transported to the Washington County Jail for two warrants and for resisting/ obstructing an officer.
12/8 @ 3:52 p.m.- A complaint was received of a vehicle being operated by a man that appeared to be under the influence of drugs. The vehicle was located by an officer and stopped. The driver, a 37-year-old Kaukauna man, was under the influence of controlled substances. The officer located marijuana, crack cocaine, methamphetamine, a digital scale, and drug paraphernalia in the man’s possession. The man was arrested for operating while under the influence (1st offense), a probation hold, and numerous drug charges.
12/10 @ 12:03 a.m.- Officers responded to a domestic disturbance. A 27-year-old Jackson man was taken into custody and charges requested for domestic-related disorderly conduct.
12/13 @ 10:32 a.m.- An impaired driver was reported entering the Village on Sherman Road. The vehicle was located, and the 48-year-old Jackson man was found to be under the influence. He was arrested for operating while under the influence (1st offense, pbt .12).
12/14 @ 1:07 a.m.- An officer stopped a vehicle for numerous traffic violations. The driver, a 60-year-old Cedarburg man, was under the influence and admitted to “drinking while driving around”. A bottle of whiskey was in the vehicle. The man was arrested for operating while under the influence (1st offense, pbt .18) and cited for having open intoxicants in a vehicle.
12/15 @ 7:00 a.m.- A report was received regarding several wild turkeys that were chasing children at the bus stop on Hickory Lane. We received other complaints/ concerns related to tomfoolery in this area and reached out to the Wisconsin DNR’s wildlife biologists who are assisting with the situation. Residents are reminded not to feed wild turkeys in the Village.
12/17 @ 5:38 p.m.- A 47-year-old Jackson man was reported missing by his family. He hadn’t been heard from in over a week. A multi-day land and water search was conducted with the assistance of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, and Wisconsin K9 SOS Search and Rescue. The man was located safely on December 23.
