12/1- A traffic stop was conducted on a suspicious vehicle. The driver was arrested for an absolute sobriety violation, having open intoxicants in the vehicle and no insurance. The juvenile passenger was cited for underage drinking, curfew and having open intoxicants in the vehicle.

12/1- An adult man was arrested for a domestic violence incident after a physical confrontation with his wife.

12/2- A complaint at a local motel resulted in criminal charges. An adult man with two open cases for other crimes had been ordered to maintain absolute sobriety. When the officer spoke to him, they noticed that he had been drinking. Charges are pending with the Washington County District Attorney’s Office.

12/3- Officers responded to a report of a disorderly adult woman at a residence. The woman was screaming, slamming doors and was uncooperative with the officers. She was arrested for disorderly conduct and transported to the jail.

12/5- An adult man was arrested following a violent domestic disturbance.

12/6 – An adult man was taken into protective custody.

12/6- A suspicious person complaint was received regarding a woman acting suspiciously at a local gas station. When the officer contacted her, she gave a false name. The officers determined her real identity and she had two warrants for her arrest. She was transported to the jail.

12/8- An officer on patrol observed a vehicle swerving. The adult woman driver was arrested for Operating While Under the Influence (2nd offense) and Operating While Revoked. She was transported to the jail.

12/12- An officer on patrol stopped a vehicle for expired registration. The driver dropped a blue Adderall pill out of the window, which was later recovered. A small bag of marijuana and a pipe were found in the vehicle. The driver was arrested and transported to the jail.

12/12- JPD assisted the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and other departments with a drug interdiction patrol on Interstates 41/45. A Jackson Officer initiated a traffic pursuit with a vehicle that was travelling over 100 mph. The pursuit ended when other departments were able to “spike” the driver’s tires, twice. The suspect, a 27-year-old Menasha man attempted to flee on foot but was quickly apprehended and transported to jail. The man was on parole for homicide and had a warrant for his arrest. Numerous charges are pending at the Washington County District Attorney’s Office.

12/13- A witness reported seeing a vehicle operating with a sign with a cement base stuck under it. The officer located the vehicle and the driver was sleeping in the driver’s seat. The sign was still stuck under the vehicle and had been dragged several blocks. The man was arrested for Operating While Under the Influence (4th offense) and transported to the jail.

12/22- An internal theft case was investigated from a local business. An employee of the local business was cited for theft.

12/22- Officers arrested an adult man at the scene of a domestic violence incident.

12/25- An adult woman was intoxicated and kicked a brand-new television. She fled the residence prior to the officer’s arrival. Several days later she was arrested for felony bail jumping and domestic disorderly conduct.

12/30- An adult man was arrested for Operating While Under the Influence (3rd offense), domestic disorderly conduct and a warrant after a violent domestic disturbance at a local motel.
