2/3- An officer took a report of a stolen vehicle by an acquaintance. The suspect was eventually located and arrested for a probation warrant. During the arrest, the officer located a small bag of methamphetamine in the suspect’s wallet. The adult woman was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail.

2/5- Officers responded to a 911 call of a possible domestic disturbance. An adult male was arrested for a warrant and transported to the jail.

2/6- On February 6, 2020 at 2:28 p.m., the Jackson Police Department received a report of a stolen vehicle traveling southbound on U.S. Highway 45. The driver, a 22-year-old West Bend man had a warrant for his arrest. A Jackson Police Officer observed the vehicle traveling southbound on U.S. Highway 45 approaching State Highway 60 in the Village of Jackson. The suspect vehicle exited onto the off-ramp for State Highway 60 at a high rate of speed and crashed into a guardrail on the off-ramp.

The driver sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash. He was transported by the Jackson Fire Department to Froedtert West Bend, and subsequently flown by Flight for Life to Froedtert Milwaukee. The Jackson Police Department was assisted at the scene by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and the Jackson Fire Department. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office Accident Reconstruction Team was requested to respond to the scene and reconstruct the crash.

2/8- At 1:56 a.m., an officer on patrol observed a vehicle drive into a curb, causing damage to the vehicle. The driver, a 36-year-old Hartford woman, was arrested for OWI (1^st). Her preliminary breath test was .147. Her seven-year-old daughter was a passenger in the vehicle. Arrangements were made for the child and the woman was taken to the Washington County Jail.

2/9- Officers investigated a domestic disturbance between two adults. An adult male was arrested and transported to the jail for domestic disorderly conduct and battery.

2/9- Officers investigated another domestic disturbance between two adults. An adult woman was arrested and transported to the jail for domestic disorderly conduct.

2/10- Officers responded to a report that an adult woman was intoxicated and had two open felony cases in which she had been ordered to maintain absolute sobriety.  The officers found the woman hiding in a bedroom at the residence and took her into custody. She was charged with two counts of felony bail jumping.

2/14- An officer observed a vehicle travelling 58-m.p.h. in a 35-m.p.h. zone at 12:20 a.m. The officer stopped the vehicle and noted that the driver appeared to be intoxicated. Field sobriety testing was conducted (PBT .103). The driver was arrested for Operating While Under the Influence (3^rd offense).

2/14- An officer stopped a vehicle that was operating with defective brake lamps. The driver had a revoked license and was in possession of drug paraphernalia. He was cited and released to a valid driver.

2/15- An officer on patrol observed a vehicle with a suspended registration. The driver also had a suspended driver’s license. The driver was found to be in possession of prescription medications that she didn’t have a prescription for. Multiple citations / charges are pending.

2/15- we arrested an adult woman after she threw a glass mug at her 16-year-old daughter, causing injury. The woman resisted arrest and kicked at the officers but was taken into custody without incident. While at the hospital receiving medical clearance, the woman scratched an Emergency Department nurse. She was eventually transported to the jail, and multiple charges are pending.

2/19- A theft of tools was reported missing from a garage in Main Street. The resident had forgotten to close the garage door overnight. This matter is under investigation.

2/20- at 11:14 a.m., an adult woman caused a vehicle crash on Ridgeway Drive and then fled the scene. She was later located in another area of the village after getting her vehicle stuck in a snowbank. She was arrested for Operating While Under the Influence (2^nd Offense), Bail Jumping and two warrants. We are awaiting blood test results, but this is believed to be a drug-impaired driving arrest.

2/20- We responded to several reports of residences that were shot with BB guns on Thursday evening in the area of Hawthorn Drive and Hemlock Street. Anyone with information on these incidents is asked to call the Jackson Police Department at (262) 677-4949.

2/23- We assisted the Washington County Sheriff’s Office with an Operating While Under the Influence (6^th offense) arrest which occurred in the Village.

2/23- An officer was dispatched to a report of a reckless driver entering the Village. The officer located the vehicle and noted that the driver appeared to be intoxicated and had urinated on himself. Field sobriety testing was conducted (PBT .142) and the driver was arrested for OWI (1^st offense).

2/28- A two-vehicle rollover crash snarled traffic on Highway 60 on Friday morning. Minor injuries were reported and crews from JPD, JFD and DPW worked to clear the area as quickly as possible.
