4/2 12:20 a.m. – Officers responded to a report of suspicious people at Piggly Wiggly. Three adults were found digging through garbage cans looking for cigarette butts. Two were cited for underage drinking and one was referred for bail jumping due to an open criminal case that required absolute sobriety.

4/4 6:50 a.m. – Multiple arrests were made in connection to a suspected Fentanyl overdose-death which occurred in the village on April 4, 2020. These charges are the result of a thorough and complex criminal investigation and a collaborative effort between the Jackson Police Department, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and Medical Examiner’s Office, the Milwaukee Police Department and the Washington County District Attorney’s Office. 4/6 9:21 p.m. – Officers responded to a reported domestic disturbance. After an investigation was conducted, no arrests were made.

4/6 10:51 p.m. – Officers responded to a report of a juvenile that became ill and required medical attention after smoking marijuana. This matter is under investigation.

4/16 12:30 p.m.- Main Street Mart reported a theft of fuel. The driver of the vehicle had placed stolen license plates on the suspect vehicle. This matter is under investigation.

4/16 11:45 a.m. Piggly Wiggly reported a theft of lobster tails and crab legs. The suspect was identified based on photos that we posted to our Facebook page. Charges are pending.

4/17 1:27 p.m.- A resident called the Police Department to report that two guitars had been stolen from his storage unit. The guitars were located on Facebook Marketplace for sale. Officers set up an appointment to see the guitars and found them to be the same ones that had been reported stolen. Officers arrested the 47-year-old West Bend man. They also identified him as a suspect in an unsolved burglary and theft from 2019. Charges were filed with the Washington County District Attorney’s Office.
