May 2 – We responded to a motorcycle crash on Hwy 45. The single occupant was thrown from the motorcycle and sustained serious injuries. He was taken to a local hospital. The rider was cited for operating after revocation, non-registration and other violations.

May 2 at 10:50 p.m.- An officer observed two speeding vehicles on Hwy 45. The first was a 1967 Chevy Camaro SS being operated at 134 m.p.h., and the second vehicle was a 1969 Chevy Impala clocked at 127 m.p.h. Both drivers were cited for speeding with a fine amount of $439.

May 5 at 3:16 a.m. – An officer on patrol found two adults hiding under a pine tree in Jackson Park. They stated they were “sleeping” there. Both were issued citations for violation of park hours.

May 5 at 2:35 p.m.- The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office requested our assistance with locating a prisoner that had fled while out on a Huber work assignment. Gabrielle Bruce was reported to be in the Jackson area. Officers located her on and took her into custody without incident. She was in possession of a controlled substance and charges will be requested. Ms. Bruce was transported to the Washington County Jail.

May 7 at 2:38 p.m.- An officer investigated an internal theft from a local business. The employee was terminated and cited for theft.

May 7 – Officers assisted an individual that was experiencing a mental health crisis. The person was taken into protective custody.

May 9 – Vandalism was reported to machinery at the new Bielinski subdivision on Cedar Creek Road near Jackson Drive. Neighbors are encouraged to contact the Jackson Police Department if they see suspicious activity.

May 18, at 8:32 a.m.- We arrested an adult male for a probation warrant issued by the Department of Corrections. The suspect was argumentative and coughed in the officer’s face while the officer was fastening the suspect’s seatbelt. He was transported to the jail without incident.

May 20- Officers responded to a 911 call for a 1-year-old child that had been left unattended while taking a bath and was found submerged and unconscious in the water. Fortunately, the child regained consciousness prior to EMS arrival. The child was transported by the Jackson Fire Department to Froedtert West Bend, and then to Children’s Hospital. This matter is under investigation.

May 26- Officers were called to a local business after it was reported that a woman was acting “weird”, and a part from her car had fallen off in the parking lot. Officers contacted the woman and she was cited for Operating While Revoked.

May 23 – Officers responded to a report of a 28-year-old male that was not breathing. Upon arrival at the scene, the officers observed signs of a drug-overdose. Officers administered three doses of Narcan, an opiate antidote and the victim was revived. The victim was transported to Froedtert West Bend by the Jackson Fire Department. Criminal charges are pending.

May 28- Officers responded to a hit-and- run crash at the Piggly Wiggly. The driver of a Dodge Caravan was captured on video striking a parked vehicle causing moderate damage. The driver then fled the scene. Photos of the suspect vehicle were posted to our Facebook page. With the assistance of a local resident that enhanced the photos for us, we were able to identify the suspect and a citation was issued for hit and run.

May 30- Officers responded to an individual that was experiencing a mental health crisis. The person picked up a knife and asked officers to shoot the person. The person was taken into protective custody without incident.
