August 2021 Patrol Activity Report

8/1 @ 8:44 p.m.- Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance. An adult woman was arrested for misdemeanor after it was discovered she had been drinking alcohol in violation of her conditions of bond. She was out on bond on an unrelated criminal case.

8/3 @ 7:40 p.m.- A 62-year-old Connecticut man was cited for disorderly conduct after he became aggressive at a local gas station. The man was talking to himself and trying to return alcohol and food after he had consumed from the containers. Police were called after the man threatened to steal a bicycle. The employee locked the door to the store and the man tried to force his way inside. The man fled the area prior to officer’s arrival but was located a short time later. He was cited and released.

8/6 @ 3:02 p.m.- A 20-year-old Jackson woman was stopped for driving with a suspended driver’s license. The officer could smell the odor of burnt marijuana in the car. The officer located a small amount of marijuana and a glass pipe in the vehicle. The woman was cited for possession of THC and drug paraphernalia (3rd offense).

8/6 @ 4:10 p.m.- Two workers (both from Milwaukee) laying asphalt at a local business got into an argument which became heated. One of the workers punched the other in the face causing injury. This matter is under investigation.

8/10 @ 7:55 a.m.- Officers responded to a report of a vehicle that had been stolen from a gas station on Main Street near Glen Brooke Drive. The owner of the vehicle had left his keys in his vehicle when he went into the store. Officer Krueger responded and provided other local police agencies of a description of the vehicle. A Washington County Sheriff’s deputy located the vehicle on I41 southbound near Holy Hill Road. The vehicle failed to stop for the deputy and a high-speed pursuit ensued. The driver exited I41 at County Line Road and crashed the stolen vehicle at a high rate of speed into a vehicle that was stopped at a stop light, and then crashed into a vehicle that was passing through the intersection which subsequently rolled over. The vehicle became disabled, and the suspect fled on foot. The 32-year-old Milwaukee man was apprehended by Germantown Police and eventually turned over to the custody of the Washington County Jail. Multiple criminal charges spanning several jurisdictions are under review with the Washington County District Attorney’s Office.

8/11 @ 12:39 p.m.- A domestic disturbance was reported between two adults. A 28-year-old Jackson man allegedly punched an adult female in the face. The adult male was taken into custody and transported to the jail. Charges were requested for domestic battery.

8/12 @ 10:01 a.m.- An officer responded to a local store after a 60-year-old Jackson man was reported to be highly intoxicated. The man was arrested for operating while under the influence (1st offense).

8/15 @ 5:57 p.m.- An officer stopped a vehicle due to the driver having a cancelled driver’s license. The driver, a 23-year-old Brown Deer man, admitted to having THC cartridges and Xanax pills without a valid prescription for them. The man had an open misdemeanor case and two open felony cases. He was taken
into custody and charges requested for the drug offenses and for three counts of bail jumping.

8/17@ 2:54 p.m.- A check welfare complaint resulted in the arrest of an adult male for possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia. Additional drugs were located, and testing is needed at the crime lab to verify the substances.

8/19 @ 5:32 a.m.- A black BMW was reported to be driving northbound on Interstate 41 with just one tire intact. Due to driving on three rims, the vehicle was emitting sparks and smoke. The vehicle exited the Interstate onto Highway 60 and drove to Jackson, where Officer Mueller was able to stop the vehicle. The driver, a 38-year-old Milwaukee man, was under the influence and ultimately arrested for operating while under the influence.

8/20 @ 9:55 p.m.- An adult woman was arrested for operating while under the influence (1st offense).

8/21 @ 1:58 a.m.- An adult male was arrested for operating while under the influence (1st offense).

8/24 @ 8:56 p.m.- An officer pulled behind a vehicle that was parked illegally on Main Street near Jackson Drive. The officer spoke to the driver, a 20-year-old Brown Deer man and could smell the odor of burnt marijuana. The driver refused to follow the commands of the officer and was eventually removed from the vehicle. During a search of the vehicle, the officer located a 9mm handgun, ammunition, two knives, drugs, and drug paraphernalia. The Brown Deer man was arrested for possession of a firearm in violation of a protection order, felony bail jumping, possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia.

8/28 @ 5:00 a.m.- A resident reported to being woken up to an adult woman hitting the resident’s truck with a flashlight. The woman also accused the caller of damaging her furnace by using witchcraft. The woman was cited for disorderly conduct.
