November 2021 Activity Report

11/1 @ 1:42 a.m.- Slinger Police Department requested our assistance with a traffic pursuit which resulted in a crash on Cedar Creek Road. The driver was taken into custody and charges were handled by Slinger PD.

11/5 @ 9:38 p.m.- An officer stopped a vehicle for expired registration. The officer could see drug paraphernalia in plain view. During a search of the vehicle, cocaine and marijuana drug paraphernalia were located. Citations were issued to the 25-year-old Jackson man.

11/9 @ 10:50 p.m.- An erratic driver was reported on Main Street. The vehicle was located and stopped. The driver, a 50-year-old Milwaukee man appeared to be under the influence of intoxicants. The man was arrested for operating while under the influence (3rd offense, PBT .18). The driver was taken to jail on a federal probation hold.

11/11 @ 2:55 p.m.- A medical condition caused a vehicle crash on County Trunk P near Northwest Passage. The driver received minor injuries after his car left the roadway and struck a fire hydrant, and then a tree.

11/12 @ 8:32 p.m.- A 33-year-old Jackson man was taken into custody for four warrants.

11/13 @ 3:44 a.m.- Officer Oswald intercepted a wrong-way driver on Highway 45. The 29-year-old driver of Pleasant Prairie was travelling southbound in the northbound lanes. The driver stated he was travelling from Chicago to Kenosha. The driver appeared to be under the influence of intoxicants and was arrested for operating under the influence (1st offense, PBT .17). He was issued citations for operating while under the influence and driving the wrong way on a divided highway. A reckless endangerment charge was referred to the District Attorney’s Office.

11/14 @ 2:27 a.m.- An officer responded to a report of a drug overdose. The person was successfully revived and received medical treatment.

11/17- An adult was taken into protective custody.

11/17 @ 7:30 a.m.- A one-vehicle crash was reported in the new Morning Meadows subdivision on Tiger Lily Drive. The driver, a 52-year-old Cedarburg woman, fled the scene prior to the officer’s arrival. Several citations were issued, and alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.

11/20 @ 10:13 p.m.- Officer DeMaa responded to a report of a drug overdose in the Town of Jackson. Officer DeMaa administered Narcan to the victim, prior to turning patient care over the Jackson Fire Department.

11/21 @ 11:12 a.m.- Officer Krueger responded to a report of a disorderly male subject in Green Valley. The suspect, a 32-year-old Jackson man, had been drinking in violation of the terms of his probation. Prior to the officer arriving, he fled the scene but was located in a neighbor’s shed. The man was uncooperative and resistive with Officer Krueger and a Slinger officer that responded. A taser was deployed to take the man into custody. He was transported to the Washington County Jail and charges were filed for resisting/ obstructing and for the probation violation.

11/24 @ 6:12 p.m.- A 41-year-old Jackson man was taken into custody after a domestic disturbance was reported. Charges were referred to the Washington County District Attorney’s Office for strangulation, battery, criminal damage to property, negligent handling of burning materials and bail jumping.

11/26 @ 12:10 a.m.- A 24-year-old Jackson man was taken into custody after a domestic disturbance was reported. Charges for domestic-related battery and possession of THC (marijuana) were sent to the District Attorney’s Office.

11/26 @ 3:45 p.m.- Criminal damage to property to a pickup truck was reported. A suspect was identified, interviewed, and confessed to causing the damage. A citation was issued the damage.

11/26 @ 10:42 p.m.- An officer was dispatched to an apartment building on Ridgeway Drive due to a resident that was playing loud music, yelling, and throwing items into the hallway. When officers spoke to the 37-year-old Jackson man, they noticed he was under the influence. The man had an open criminal case and was arrested. At the time of his arrest, two bags of marijuana were in plain view. He was taken into custody for bail jumping and cited for possession of THC.

11/28 @ 10:02 p.m.- JPD was called due to a 27-year-old Jackson man was intoxicated and punching a TV. The man was highly agitated and was taken into custody. He was charged with disorderly conduct and a citation issued for possession of THC.
