12/4 @ 3:30 a.m.- A suspicious vehicle was reported on Glen Brooke Drive. An officer located the vehicle as it pulled into a driveway. The driver, a 40-year-old Jackson man admitted to being involved in a road rage incident and alleged that the other driver pointed a gun at him. The man was under the influence and was arrested for operating while under the influence (1st offense, pbt refused), and for a warrant through the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.

12/6 @ 2:51 a.m.- A 25-year-old Saukville man who had walked away from Huber work release in Ozaukee County was located at a residence on Ridgeway Drive. The man presented Officer Oswald with a fake identification card. The man shoved a deputy and ran out of the apartment building. The officers quickly captured him and took him into custody. He was transported to the Washington County Jail for two warrants and for resisting/ obstructing an officer.

12/8 @ 3:52 p.m.- A complaint was received of a vehicle being operated by a man that appeared to be under the influence of drugs. The vehicle was located by an officer and stopped. The driver, a 37-year-old Kaukauna man, was under the influence of controlled substances. The officer located marijuana, crack cocaine, methamphetamine, a digital scale, and drug paraphernalia in the man’s possession. The man was arrested for operating while under the influence (1st offense), a probation hold, and numerous drug charges.

12/10 @ 12:03 a.m.- Officers responded to a domestic disturbance. A 27-year-old Jackson man was taken into custody and charges requested for domestic-related disorderly conduct.

12/13 @ 10:32 a.m.- An impaired driver was reported entering the Village on Sherman Road. The vehicle was located, and the 48-year-old Jackson man was found to be under the influence. He was arrested for operating while under the influence (1st offense, pbt .12).

12/14 @ 1:07 a.m.- An officer stopped a vehicle for numerous traffic violations. The driver, a 60-year-old Cedarburg man, was under the influence and admitted to “drinking while driving around”. A bottle of whiskey was in the vehicle. The man was arrested for operating while under the influence (1st offense, pbt .18) and cited for having open intoxicants in a vehicle.

12/15 @ 7:00 a.m.- A report was received regarding several wild turkeys that were chasing children at the bus stop on Hickory Lane. We received other complaints/ concerns related to tomfoolery in this area and reached out to the Wisconsin DNR’s wildlife biologists who are assisting with the situation. Residents are reminded not to feed wild turkeys in the Village.

12/17 @ 5:38 p.m.- A 47-year-old Jackson man was reported missing by his family. He hadn’t been heard from in over a week. A multi-day land and water search was conducted with the assistance of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, and Wisconsin K9 SOS Search and Rescue. The man was located safely on December 23.

November 2021 Activity Report

11/1 @ 1:42 a.m.- Slinger Police Department requested our assistance with a traffic pursuit which resulted in a crash on Cedar Creek Road. The driver was taken into custody and charges were handled by Slinger PD.

11/5 @ 9:38 p.m.- An officer stopped a vehicle for expired registration. The officer could see drug paraphernalia in plain view. During a search of the vehicle, cocaine and marijuana drug paraphernalia were located. Citations were issued to the 25-year-old Jackson man.

11/9 @ 10:50 p.m.- An erratic driver was reported on Main Street. The vehicle was located and stopped. The driver, a 50-year-old Milwaukee man appeared to be under the influence of intoxicants. The man was arrested for operating while under the influence (3rd offense, PBT .18). The driver was taken to jail on a federal probation hold.

11/11 @ 2:55 p.m.- A medical condition caused a vehicle crash on County Trunk P near Northwest Passage. The driver received minor injuries after his car left the roadway and struck a fire hydrant, and then a tree.

11/12 @ 8:32 p.m.- A 33-year-old Jackson man was taken into custody for four warrants.

11/13 @ 3:44 a.m.- Officer Oswald intercepted a wrong-way driver on Highway 45. The 29-year-old driver of Pleasant Prairie was travelling southbound in the northbound lanes. The driver stated he was travelling from Chicago to Kenosha. The driver appeared to be under the influence of intoxicants and was arrested for operating under the influence (1st offense, PBT .17). He was issued citations for operating while under the influence and driving the wrong way on a divided highway. A reckless endangerment charge was referred to the District Attorney’s Office.

11/14 @ 2:27 a.m.- An officer responded to a report of a drug overdose. The person was successfully revived and received medical treatment.

11/17- An adult was taken into protective custody.

11/17 @ 7:30 a.m.- A one-vehicle crash was reported in the new Morning Meadows subdivision on Tiger Lily Drive. The driver, a 52-year-old Cedarburg woman, fled the scene prior to the officer’s arrival. Several citations were issued, and alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.

11/20 @ 10:13 p.m.- Officer DeMaa responded to a report of a drug overdose in the Town of Jackson. Officer DeMaa administered Narcan to the victim, prior to turning patient care over the Jackson Fire Department.

11/21 @ 11:12 a.m.- Officer Krueger responded to a report of a disorderly male subject in Green Valley. The suspect, a 32-year-old Jackson man, had been drinking in violation of the terms of his probation. Prior to the officer arriving, he fled the scene but was located in a neighbor’s shed. The man was uncooperative and resistive with Officer Krueger and a Slinger officer that responded. A taser was deployed to take the man into custody. He was transported to the Washington County Jail and charges were filed for resisting/ obstructing and for the probation violation.

11/24 @ 6:12 p.m.- A 41-year-old Jackson man was taken into custody after a domestic disturbance was reported. Charges were referred to the Washington County District Attorney’s Office for strangulation, battery, criminal damage to property, negligent handling of burning materials and bail jumping.

11/26 @ 12:10 a.m.- A 24-year-old Jackson man was taken into custody after a domestic disturbance was reported. Charges for domestic-related battery and possession of THC (marijuana) were sent to the District Attorney’s Office.

11/26 @ 3:45 p.m.- Criminal damage to property to a pickup truck was reported. A suspect was identified, interviewed, and confessed to causing the damage. A citation was issued the damage.

11/26 @ 10:42 p.m.- An officer was dispatched to an apartment building on Ridgeway Drive due to a resident that was playing loud music, yelling, and throwing items into the hallway. When officers spoke to the 37-year-old Jackson man, they noticed he was under the influence. The man had an open criminal case and was arrested. At the time of his arrest, two bags of marijuana were in plain view. He was taken into custody for bail jumping and cited for possession of THC.

11/28 @ 10:02 p.m.- JPD was called due to a 27-year-old Jackson man was intoxicated and punching a TV. The man was highly agitated and was taken into custody. He was charged with disorderly conduct and a citation issued for possession of THC.

10/2 @ 6:07 p.m.- A report was received of a possible domestic dispute in a moving vehicle on Highway 45. A witness reported seeing a man hitting a woman in a vehicle. The vehicle was located, and a 49-year-old Kewaskum man was arrested for domestic-related charges.

10/2 @ 8:49 p.m.- A reckless driver was reported on Main Street near Eagle Drive. The vehicle was located, and the driver was under the influence of intoxicants (refused PBT). The 60-year-old Richfield man was cited for operating while under the influence (1st offense).

10/2 @ 10:54 p.m.- An officer observed damage to the men’s bathroom at Jackson Park. The soap dispensers were destroyed, the toilets were plugged with paper towel, and paper towel was all over the bathroom. DPW cleaned up the mess. If anyone has information related to this criminal damage to property, please contact JPD at (262) 677-4949.

10/2 @ 11:20 p.m.- More vandalism was reported on Hidden Creek Court. A resident reported that her pumpkins were smashed, a bird feeder damaged, and a mailbox stolen.

10/2 @ 11:15 p.m.- An officer on patrol observed that all the portable toilets in the Laurel Springs construction area were tipped over.

10/3 @ 2:35 p.m.- A resident on Georgetown Drive reported that her patio furniture had been moved around and some type of caulk/ adhesive was spread all over the furniture and patio.

10/5 @ 8:43 a.m.- A resident on Cedar Run Drive reported the theft of three traffic signs.

10/5 @ 9:43 p.m.- A suspicious vehicle was reported driving around the new Municipal Complex. The 30-year-old Jackson man was driving around the building honking his horn and yelling out the window because he wanted to be let in to use the bathroom. On 10/5 the building was unoccupied as we hadn’t moved yet. An officer located the man and released him to his family.

10/9 @ 3:44 p.m.- A report was received of a 59-year-old Jackson man that was masturbating in public at Jackson Park. The man was located and gave conflicting statements to the officer. He was cited for disorderly conduct and removed from the park.

10/10 @ 8:35 p.m.- An officer responded to Germantown to assist with taking a suspect into custody.

10/11 @ 7:08 p.m.- A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle due to the driver having a suspended driver’s license. The driver, a 37-year-old Jackson man had drug paraphernalia visible in the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed cocaine paraphernalia, and marijuana. The driver was cited for operating while suspended, possession of THC (marijuana), and possession of drug paraphernalia.

10/12 @ 11:37 a.m.- A report was received of an adult male passed out in the driver’s seat of a vehicle on Hemlock Street. Narcan was administered. The driver, a 37-year-old Jackson man, was under the influence and possessed drug paraphernalia and crack cocaine. The driver was arrested for operating while under the influence (2nd offense), possession of cocaine, felony bail jumping, and for a warrant out of Milwaukee County.

10/14 @ 11:40 p.m.- An officer on patrol attempted to stop a vehicle, but the suspect fled at a high rate of speed (123 m.p.h.). The officer located the vehicle on a dead-end road in Richfield. The driver, a 37-year-old Milwaukee man was under the influence (refused PBT). The man was uncooperative with officers and had an open felony case out of Milwaukee County that required he not have contact with his adult female passenger. The man was arrested for fleeing/ eluding, operating while under the influence (1st offense), and felony bail jumping.

10/15 @ 5:27 p.m.- A reckless driver was reported entering the Village on Highway 60 near Cedar Parkway. The driver, a 34-year-old Jackson man was under the influence of controlled substances. The man was arrested for operating while under the influence (3rd offense), operating while revoked, and two counts of misdemeanor bail jumping.

10/16 @ 2:21 a.m.- A domestic disturbance was reported. A 26-year-old Jackson man was arrested for a probation violation.

10/17 @ 12:00 a.m.- A reckless driver was reported on Highway 60 near Industrial Drive. The driver, a 28-year-old Germantown man, was under the influence (refused PBT). The man was arrested for operating while under the influence (1st offense).

10/21 @ 8:38 p.m.- An officer responded to a fire at Kerry Ingredients. The fire was contained thanks to the sprinkler system and a quick response from the Jackson Fire Department.

10/21 @ 9:42 p.m.- Officers and deputies from Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call for an adult male that had overdosed on heroin. Several doses of Narcan were administered and the person was revived. After medical clearance, the man was taken into custody for a probation hold.

10/22 @ 2:14 a.m.- A resident reported seeing a suspicious person on their Ring doorbell on Hidden Creek Road. An officer located a damaged, unoccupied vehicle that was still running and had airbag deployment in a business parking lot. An adult male matching the description of the person on the Ring doorbell was observed walking on Industrial Drive. The man, a 34-year-old Milwaukee man, provided a false name and had been drinking but was not under the influence. The man was arrested for obstructing an officer, operating without a driver’s license (2nd offense), and for two felony warrants.

10/26 @ 1:27 a.m.- An officer was dispatched to Slinger to assist with taking four suspects into custody on a traffic stop.

10/28 @ 4:15 p.m.- A gift card “recharging” scam was reported at a local business. The three suspects tricked the cashier into a transaction that resulted in a $4,400 loss to the business. This matter is under investigation.

10/31 @ 11:59 a.m.- An overnight hit and run crash was reported on Oakland Drive. A social media post was created regarding this investigation. A 25-year-old Jackson man turned himself in and was cited for inattentive driving, hit and run, and arrested for a probation violation.


September 2021

9/3 @ 12:59 a.m.- A possible domestic dispute was reported after two adults were overheard arguing at a local hotel. A 31-year-old Chicago woman left the scene prior to officers’ arrival. She was stopped by the Slinger Police Department and arrested for operating while under the influence (1st). The allegations of domestic violence we investigated, and the parties warned for disorderly conduct.

9/7 @ 3:26 p.m.- An officer stopped a vehicle due to the driver having a warrant for his arrest. The driver, a 34-year-old Milwaukee man, provided the officer with a false name and attempted to flee, but ultimately complied with the officers’ warnings. The man was taken into custody for a Milwaukee County felony warrant.

9/8 @ 4:02 p.m.- We received a complaint from the Wisconsin Elections Commission that a convicted felon (currently on supervision) had voted in the Fall 2020 presidential election. The allegation was investigated, and a charge was referred to the Washington County District Attorney’s Office for election fraud against the 42-year-old Jackson man.

9/8 @ 7:32 p.m.- An officer stopped a vehicle for not having brake lamps. The driver did not have a valid driver’s license and had a warrant out of Fond du Lac County for failure to appear in court. The 30-year-old Fond du Lac woman was taken into custody and cited for operating without a valid driver’s license.

9/10 @ 3:41 p.m.- An officer stopped a vehicle due to suspended registration. The driver, a 35-year-old Jackson woman, provided information to the officer that didn’t make sense. Germantown PD’s K9 Unit responded to the scene and the dog indicated on the vehicle. Officers located methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. The woman was arrested, and charges referred for possession of methamphetamine, two counts of misdemeanor bail jumping, possession of THC (marijuana), and possession of drug paraphernalia.

9/11 @ 11:15 p.m.- Germantown Police requested assistance with a traffic pursuit headed towards the Village. The suspect vehicle exited Highway 45 onto State Highway 60 and crashed into a marshy area. The driver, a 25-year-old Milwaukee man, and passenger, a 27-year-old Milwaukee man, fled the scene of the crash on foot. Both men were eventually located, taken into custody, and turned over to the custody of the Germantown Police Department. A Jackson officer handled the crash investigation and cited the driver for several traffic-related violations.

9/12 – An officer responded to a report of a physical domestic disturbance. A 31-year-old Jackson man was arrested for domestic-related disorderly conduct and transported to the jail.

9/16 @ 11:21 p.m.- An officer on patrol stopped a vehicle for a defective headlamp. The driver, a 30-year-old West Bend man, is a registered sex offender and is prohibited from being in the company of anyone under 18. There was a minor female in the vehicle. The driver was arrested for a probation violation and taken to jail.

9/20 @ 5:15 a.m.- The Washington County Sheriff’s Office requested that we respond to a crash on Highway 45 near Sherman Road. Officer DeMaa immediately responded and located the crash. The driver appeared to be unconscious in the vehicle. Officer DeMaa broke out the rear window of the vehicle and the driver received immediate critical care. The driver was transported to a hospital but ultimately died. This investigation was turned over to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

9/28 @ 12:57 a.m.- An officer observed a vehicle travelling 103-m.p.h. in a 70-m.p.h. zone. The officer stopped the vehicle and immediately smelled the odor of raw marijuana. A search of the vehicle revealed individually packaged bags of marijuana totaling just under 100 grams, and a digital scale. A 17-year-old West Bend man was taken into custody and charges referred for possession with intent to deliver marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. The driver was cited for speeding.

9/29 @ 8:35 a.m.- A 25-year-old Menomonee Falls man was taken into custody for two Waukesha County warrants. The man was transported to the Washington County Jail.

August 2021 Patrol Activity Report

8/1 @ 8:44 p.m.- Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance. An adult woman was arrested for misdemeanor after it was discovered she had been drinking alcohol in violation of her conditions of bond. She was out on bond on an unrelated criminal case.

8/3 @ 7:40 p.m.- A 62-year-old Connecticut man was cited for disorderly conduct after he became aggressive at a local gas station. The man was talking to himself and trying to return alcohol and food after he had consumed from the containers. Police were called after the man threatened to steal a bicycle. The employee locked the door to the store and the man tried to force his way inside. The man fled the area prior to officer’s arrival but was located a short time later. He was cited and released.

8/6 @ 3:02 p.m.- A 20-year-old Jackson woman was stopped for driving with a suspended driver’s license. The officer could smell the odor of burnt marijuana in the car. The officer located a small amount of marijuana and a glass pipe in the vehicle. The woman was cited for possession of THC and drug paraphernalia (3rd offense).

8/6 @ 4:10 p.m.- Two workers (both from Milwaukee) laying asphalt at a local business got into an argument which became heated. One of the workers punched the other in the face causing injury. This matter is under investigation.

8/10 @ 7:55 a.m.- Officers responded to a report of a vehicle that had been stolen from a gas station on Main Street near Glen Brooke Drive. The owner of the vehicle had left his keys in his vehicle when he went into the store. Officer Krueger responded and provided other local police agencies of a description of the vehicle. A Washington County Sheriff’s deputy located the vehicle on I41 southbound near Holy Hill Road. The vehicle failed to stop for the deputy and a high-speed pursuit ensued. The driver exited I41 at County Line Road and crashed the stolen vehicle at a high rate of speed into a vehicle that was stopped at a stop light, and then crashed into a vehicle that was passing through the intersection which subsequently rolled over. The vehicle became disabled, and the suspect fled on foot. The 32-year-old Milwaukee man was apprehended by Germantown Police and eventually turned over to the custody of the Washington County Jail. Multiple criminal charges spanning several jurisdictions are under review with the Washington County District Attorney’s Office.

8/11 @ 12:39 p.m.- A domestic disturbance was reported between two adults. A 28-year-old Jackson man allegedly punched an adult female in the face. The adult male was taken into custody and transported to the jail. Charges were requested for domestic battery.

8/12 @ 10:01 a.m.- An officer responded to a local store after a 60-year-old Jackson man was reported to be highly intoxicated. The man was arrested for operating while under the influence (1st offense).

8/15 @ 5:57 p.m.- An officer stopped a vehicle due to the driver having a cancelled driver’s license. The driver, a 23-year-old Brown Deer man, admitted to having THC cartridges and Xanax pills without a valid prescription for them. The man had an open misdemeanor case and two open felony cases. He was taken
into custody and charges requested for the drug offenses and for three counts of bail jumping.

8/17@ 2:54 p.m.- A check welfare complaint resulted in the arrest of an adult male for possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia. Additional drugs were located, and testing is needed at the crime lab to verify the substances.

8/19 @ 5:32 a.m.- A black BMW was reported to be driving northbound on Interstate 41 with just one tire intact. Due to driving on three rims, the vehicle was emitting sparks and smoke. The vehicle exited the Interstate onto Highway 60 and drove to Jackson, where Officer Mueller was able to stop the vehicle. The driver, a 38-year-old Milwaukee man, was under the influence and ultimately arrested for operating while under the influence.

8/20 @ 9:55 p.m.- An adult woman was arrested for operating while under the influence (1st offense).

8/21 @ 1:58 a.m.- An adult male was arrested for operating while under the influence (1st offense).

8/24 @ 8:56 p.m.- An officer pulled behind a vehicle that was parked illegally on Main Street near Jackson Drive. The officer spoke to the driver, a 20-year-old Brown Deer man and could smell the odor of burnt marijuana. The driver refused to follow the commands of the officer and was eventually removed from the vehicle. During a search of the vehicle, the officer located a 9mm handgun, ammunition, two knives, drugs, and drug paraphernalia. The Brown Deer man was arrested for possession of a firearm in violation of a protection order, felony bail jumping, possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia.

8/28 @ 5:00 a.m.- A resident reported to being woken up to an adult woman hitting the resident’s truck with a flashlight. The woman also accused the caller of damaging her furnace by using witchcraft. The woman was cited for disorderly conduct.

July 2021 Activity Report – JPD

7/1- A resident reported that a family member used their bank accounts and credit cards to accrue a debt over $125,000. This matter is under investigation.

7/1- A business owner reported that someone created a counterfeit check with their business name on it. The check had been cashed and a $2,500 loss was reported. This matter is under investigation.

7/1- A resident reported that a license plate had been stolen from his vehicle. This matter is under investigation.

7/2- During a traffic stop, the officer suspected there may be illegal drugs in the vehicle and requested a K9 from a neighboring community. The K9 indicated on the vehicle and located 31 THC vape cartridges, 5.3 grams of THC (marijuana), 10 ecstasy tablets, a small amount of cocaine and drug paraphernalia. Multiple charges were referred to the Washington County District Attorney’s Office.

7/5-7/9- Officers responded to three separate calls for adults in crisis. In each case, an adult was taken into protective custody.

7/9- During a traffic stop, the officer found that the driver had a warrant for his arrest. He had also been court-ordered not to have contact with his front seat passenger. Cocaine, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia were located in the vehicle. The adult male driver was arrested for the warrant, possession of cocaine / drug paraphernalia, operating while revoked, and misdemeanor bail jumping. The adult female passenger was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and a probation hold. Both were transported to the Washington County Jail.

7/10- A resident reported that a family member had taken his vehicle without consent. The suspect eventually returned the vehicle but kept the keys. The suspect was located but was uncooperative with officers. Charges were referred to the District Attorney’s Office for operating a motor vehicle without owner’s consent and bail jumping.

7/10- A witness reported seeing a man driving a motorcycle with two children on his lap. The man was located and admitted to driving the motorcycle with his 4-year-old on his lap, and his 6-year-old child behind him. He was cited for operating while revoked and for the passenger violation.

7/11- An officer stopped a vehicle due to the registered owner not having a valid driver’s license. The driver was on probation and was not allowed to be driving due to having a suspended driver’s license. The man was taken into custody and transported to the jail on a probation hold.

7/16- A road rage incident ended in a traffic crash after two drivers stopped to confront each other. The driver of the second vehicle failed to put the vehicle in park when he got out to confront the driver of the vehicle in front of him. His vehicle then drove into the back of the stopped car. Both drivers were cited for disorderly conduct. The driver that had his vehicle struck was taken to jail on a probation hold.

7/17- During a traffic stop, the officer observed open intoxicants in the backseat. The adult male driver appeared to be under the influence of intoxicants. The driver refused a breath test and was arrested for operating while under the influence (2nd), operating while revoked, and a probation hold.

7/19- An officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The vehicle initially pulled over but took off at a high rate of speed when the officer began walking up to the car. A short pursuit ensued but was terminated after the suspect nearly struck another vehicle. The officer was able to identify the driver and charges were referred for felony fleeing and misdemeanor bail jumping.

7/20- A witness reported a car pulled over with a passed-out driver on Main Street at 4:36 p.m. The driver woke up when the officer arrived and stated he was coming from Germantown and headed to Cabela’s. The driver appeared to be under the influence of intoxicants. The driver was arrested for operating while under the influence of intoxicants (PBT .263).

7/23- An adult female was taken into custody for a body only warrant.

7/25- An unoccupied, recently crashed vehicle was reported just after midnight on CTH P near Rosewood Lane. The crash was serious enough to cause the airbags to be deployed. Officers eventually located the driver walking on the shore of Hasmer Lake. The driver, a 33-year-old Wisconsin Dells man was highly intoxicated and claimed not to remember the crash. He received medical treatment and was arrested for operating while under the influence (3rd offense). During his arrest, a bag containing crystal methamphetamine was found in his possession. In addition to the drug and impaired driving charges, several citations were issued related to the crash.

7/27- After a lengthy criminal investigation, Detective Foeger arrested a 30-year-old Jackson man for repeated sexual assault of a child under 16-years-old.

7/29- An adult male was arrested for knowingly violating a domestic violence injunction order, after he decided to visit his ex-wife. Charges were referred to the District Attorney.

7/31- At 2:37 a.m., a suspicious vehicle was observed in Jackson Park. The driver was passed out with his face on the steering wheel. A glass pipe that smelled of burnt marijuana, a rolled foil pipe with burnt marijuana residue, a vape cartridge with burnt marijuana in it, a vape pen and a container with marijuana flakes and burnt residue were located in the vehicle. The man was under the influence of intoxicants and arrested (refused breath test). The man was cited for operating while intoxicated (1st) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

7/31- A reckless driver was reported to be coming into the Village. An officer observed the vehicle speeding on Hickory Lane. The driver appeared to be under the influence of intoxicants and had his 9-year-old son in the vehicle with him. The driver was arrested for operating while under the influence (1st offense with a minor passenger). Charges were also referred for two counts of possession of a prescription medication without a valid prescription. Human services were contacted to assist with placement for the child.

6/1 @ 1:02 a.m.- An overnight burglary occurred at Dairy Queen. A suspect forced entry into the business through the back door, caused property damage to the store, and stole cash. This matter is under investigation.

6/1 @ 9:53 p.m.- While conducting a sex offender residency check, an officer smelled the odor of burnt marijuana in a residence. An adult male was cited for possession of THC (marijuana) and drug paraphernalia and warned for violating the sex offender residency ordinance.

6/2 @ 11:12 p.m.- A disturbance was reported in the parking lot at Sysco Foods between three adults. An adult woman was disarmed of her taser by an adult male that unsuccessfully attempted to use it on her. The adult male then attempted to run the woman over with his car. Fortunately, he missed her by just a few feet. The adult woman then fled the scene with another adult woman, while being chased by the male. The two women crashed their vehicle into a parked car, and then into a house in the Town of Polk. The adult male was located in Germantown and taken into custody. Charges were referred for first degree recklessly endangering safety, misdemeanor bail jumping, and felon in possession of an electronic device.

6/5 – An adult female was arrested as a result of a domestic disturbance. Charges were referred to the Washington County District Attorney for domestic-related disorderly conduct.

6/6 @ 1:41 a.m.- An officer observed a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of a business in the industrial park. An adult female was in the front seat. She stated that she had pulled over because her car was overheating. The officer observed two open containers of alcohol in the cupholders. A search of the vehicle revealed a crystalline powder that tested positive for methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. The adult woman was arrested, and charges referred for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, as well as misdemeanor bail jumping.

6/12 @ 11:27 p.m.- An officer stopped a vehicle that was operating with defective tail lamps. The driver opened his wallet to retrieve his driver’s license and a baggie with two ecstasy pills fell out. The officer searched the vehicle and located two plastic baggies containing marijuana, two glass pipes, and a brown wax substance. Charges were referred for possession of ecstasy, possession of THC, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

6/13 – A resident was the victim of an email “phishing” scam. The resident was tricked into purchasing $2,000 in Ebay gift cards and transferring the money. Once the money was transferred, the resident suspected it was scam and contacted police. This matter is under investigation. Note: It is nearly impossible for us to recover the funds once they have been transferred in situations such as this. We hate to see our residents victimized by scammers and we understand that the scammers are very good at tricking people. 6/13 @ 11:00 p.m.- An officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. When the officer was speaking to the driver, he observed marijuana in the center console. During a search of the vehicle, the officer located 50 grams of marijuana, a digital scale, and multiple plastic baggies. The male driver had a handgun in his pocket. The man was taken into custody for possession with intent to deliver THC and transported to the Washington County Jail.

6/14 @ 6:22 a.m.- An adult male came to the Jackson Police Department to turn himself in for a Minnesota warrant. He was transported to the Washington County Jail.

6/15 @ 5:48 p.m.- An adult male was arrested for operating while under the influence (1st offense, PBT .12).

6/22 @ 2:00 p.m. -We received several calls regarding a crash on CTH P near Rosewood Lane. A driver had crashed his vehicle into a fire hydrant and a mailbox, and then he and his passenger fled the vehicle on foot and were hiding in the long grass. They were located by the officer and the male gave a false name. Once the officer determined his identity, it was discovered that the 53-year-old Chilton man had six active warrants for his arrest, and five open criminal cases pending. Drug paraphernalia and fentanyl was located in his possession. The man was arrested for the warrants, five counts of bail jumping, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a schedule two narcotic. Several traffic citations were also issued related to the crash. The water department was notified and responded to replace the fire hydrant.

6/24 @ 9:41 p.m.- Officers responded to a report of a disorderly subject in the pool area of a local hotel. Contact was made with an adult male that had been drinking but was on probation and restricted to absolute sobriety. He also had two open felony cases requiring absolute sobriety. The man was taken into custody and charged with two counts of felony bail jumping, and a probation violation.

6/25 – Officers were sent to a check welfare of an adult. Upon arrival at the residence, they located two children ages one and three that had been left home alone. The officers located the adult woman, and the case was referred to Child Protective Services.

6/26- JPD and Jackson Fire responded to a report of an unconscious adult that had overdosed on a controlled substance. The adult was revived and taken for medical treatment.

6/26 @ 10:04 p.m.- A traffic pursuit was terminated after a vehicle fled a traffic stop at a high rate of speed. An officer observed the vehicle travelling at 116 M.P.H. on Highway 45. The driver, a 34-year-old Milwaukee man pulled over and gave the officer his driver’s license. The officer could smell marijuana from the vehicle and asked the man to exit the vehicle when he fled at a high rate of speed. The man later made arrangements to turn himself in but has yet to do so.

6/27- JPD and Jackson Fire responded to a report of an unconscious adult that had overdosed on a controlled substance. The adult was revived and taken for medical treatment.
