5/3 @ 8:54 p.m. – A tip was received regarding an adult male with a felony warrant. The man was located at his residence and taken into custody.

5/5 @ 10:00 p.m.- A resident reported the theft of jewelry valued at $7,635.00 from her residence. This matter is under investigation.

5/6 @ 12:38 a.m.- A vehicle was observed driving erratically. An officer stopped the vehicle and the driver admitted to drinking one beer. There was an open beer on the passenger seat and 11 empty beer cans in the vehicle. The driver was arrested for operating while intoxicated (1st offense, PBT .248). She was also cited for operating left of center and possession of open intoxicants in a motor vehicle.

5/6- A resident reported damage to a boat cover during the overnight hours. The trolling motor on the boat was also damaged. This matter is under investigation.

5/6 @ 4:19 p.m.- A hit and run crash was reported. A resident reported that her vehicle was struck while it was parked in her driveway. The suspect vehicle was located, and the driver admitted to striking the vehicle three hours earlier. Driver cited for no insurance and hit and run.

5/6 @ 6:39 p.m.- An officer stopped a vehicle that had unauthorized registration plates on it. The driver did not have a valid driver’s license or insurance on the vehicle. The officer observed multiple items of drug paraphernalia in plain view in the vehicle. The officer searched the vehicle and located a small amount of cocaine, in addition to the drug paraphernalia. The man was on probation, but the Department of Corrections declined to place a hold on him. He was cited for operating without a driver’s license, displaying unauthorized registration, possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia. A charge was referred to the Washington County District Attorney’s Office for possession of cocaine.

5/8 @ 1:06 a.m.- A vehicle was stopped after driving erratically. The driver appeared to be under the influence of intoxicants and believed he was in De Pere. The man denied drinking (PBT .239). The man was arrested for operating while under the influence ( 1st offense), and became uncooperative with the officer. While being transported to the jail, he banged his head against the plexiglass window in the squad car. He was eventually transferred to the custody of the jail and cited for operating while under the influence and operating left of center.

5/8 @ 6:19 p.m.- An officer stopped a vehicle for registration and equipment violations. The driver had two cans of “THC skittles” in the vehicle. He was cited for possession of THC (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

5/10 @ 12:54 p.m.- A 34-year-old Milwaukee man fled police contact and crashed at a high rate of speed on Main Street at the Cedar Parkway roundabout. The driver then fled the scene on foot leaving behind a seriously injured adult female and an unrestrained baby in the vehicle. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office located the man hiding in the marshy area with the assistance of a drone and a K9. He was taken into custody. The crash investigation was completed by our department.

5/10 @ 8:33 p.m.- A domestic disturbance was reported between two adults. An adult male was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct and domestic battery.

5/17- Officers investigated a report of child neglect after it was learned that a 7-year-old was being left home alone each night. This matter is under investigation.

5/17 @ 7:29 p.m.- Staff worked extensively on a missing juvenile case that originated in Jackson and resulted in an Amber Alert being issued in Northern Wisconsin. A 13-year-old Saukville girl was last seen in the Village of Jackson on 5/16, and was found safe in Menomonie, Wisconsin on 5/17. Detective Foeger worked with multiple agencies throughout Wisconsin to investigate this matter. A 19-year-old Saukville man that accompanied the girl to Menomonie is in custody and charges are pending with the Washington County District Attorney’s Office for felony bail jumping, intentionally contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and interfering with child custody.

5/18 @ 12:32 a.m.- An officer observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed on County Trunk P. The officer stopped the vehicle and the driver appeared to be under the influence. Prior to starting field testing, the driver threw a baggie of marijuana towards the ditch. The driver was arrested for operating while intoxicated (1st offense, PBT .179). Also cited for possession of THC, open intoxicants in motor vehicle, and speeding.

5/21 @ 7:38 p.m.- An adult male was referred to the District Attorney’s Office for bail jumping after impersonating another person to harass his ex-girlfriend, who he is prohibited from contacting due to a court order.

5/22 @ 9:51 p.m. – A probation violation was reported after an adult male got into an argument with an adult female that he was prohibited from seeing. The male suspect fled the scene in a vehicle and initially did not stop. He eventually pulled over and was taken into custody for a probation hold.

5/25 @ 3:55 p.m.- An adult male was taken into custody during a traffic stop. The man had active warrants for his arrest through Sheboygan County. He was turned over to the custody of Sheboygan County.

5/27 @ 10:06 a.m.- JPD received notification that a stolen license plate was on a vehicle at a local motel. The person in possession of the license plate was cited for receiving stolen property and the plate was recovered. The driver of the vehicle was issued several traffic citations.

5/29 @ 3:45 p.m.- West Bend PD asked us to attempt to locate a vehicle that was involved in a retail theft in their city. A JPD officer located the vehicle and arrested the driver for two counts of felony bail jumping and 11 valid arrest warrants. The adult male passenger was also taken into custody and turned over to West Bend PD for their retail theft investigation.

5/31 @ 2:43 a.m.- An officer stopped a vehicle for speeding (42/25). The driver was under the influence of alcohol (PBT .146). He was arrested for operating while under the influence (1st offense).

4/2 @ 9:29 p.m.- An officer on patrol stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The officer could smell the odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. An adult male passenger turned over a bag of marijuana and three items of drug paraphernalia. The passenger was cited for possession of THC (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

4/4 @ 9:05 p.m.- Multiple callers reported a vehicle driving recklessly on Highway 45. The vehicle was located and stopped. The driver refused to identify himself and appeared under the influence of intoxicants. When officers asked him to exit the vehicle, they observed drug paraphernalia in his hand. The man resisted arrest and was subsequently taken into custody and transported to a hospital for a blood test. A Menomonee Falls Police Officer responded to the hospital with a fingerprint identification device. The suspect was positively identified as a 42-year-old resident of Johnston, Iowa. A search warrant was obtained for a blood sample (.18%). The man was eventually transported to the Washington County Jail and charges for operating while under the influence (2nd offense) and resisting/ obstructing an officer were filed. Citations were issued for possession of drug paraphernalia, operating without a valid driver’s license, and open intoxicants in the vehicle.

4/5 – A resident reported a trespassing complaint after an ex-boyfriend forced his way into the residence. A charge of criminal trespassing was referred to the Washington County District Attorney’s Office.

4/7- A search warrant was executed on Chateau Drive in the Village of Jackson. A 23-year-old Jackson man was taken into custody for fifteen counts of possession of child pornography. Charges are pending with the Washington County District Attorney’s Office. We were assisted at the scene by the West Bend Police Department’s Special Response Team, and the Wisconsin Department of Justice- Division of Criminal Investigation.

4/8 @ 6:21 p.m. – A stolen license plate was recovered after an officer on patrol noticed the license plate on a passing vehicle. The driver was taken into custody for questioning regarding the stolen license plate.

4/9 @ 9:54 p.m.- A crash report was filed after a driver struck a gas meter. The crash resulted in a gas leak which was contained. WE Energies responded and fixed the gas meter.

4/11 @ 3:00 p.m.- a 21-year-old man was arrested after creating a disturbance at a local restaurant. The man was upset about his food not being made as he had ordered. The man entered the store and confronted the manager using loud and profane language and poked the manager in the chest. The suspect refused to identify himself to officers and was under the influence of intoxicants (.227). The suspect was transported to the Washington County Jail where he was positively identified by his fingerprints. Charges for disorderly conduct were filed.

4/11 @ 11:49 p.m.- An adult female was arrested for a Waukesha County warrant. She was also cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.

4/20- Vandalism was reported in the women’s bathroom at Jackson Park. The suspects plugged the toilets with paper towel causing flooding. DPW was notified and this matter is under investigation.

4/20- Three adults were cited for possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia.

4/22 @ 2:11 p.m.- An adult male was taken into custody for a warrant during a traffic stop. The driver was cited for operating after revocation and transported to jail due to the warrant through the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.

4/23 @ 8:09 p.m.- An officer attempted to stop a vehicle on Highway 45 wanted in relation to a retail theft in West Bend. The vehicle accelerated and short pursuit ensued. Due to the safety risk created by the high speeds, the pursuit was terminated.

4/26 @ 12:07 a.m.- A suspicious person was reported near apartment buildings on Georgetown Drive. The man was located and had stated he was out for a walk and stopped to urinate on a building. He had been consuming intoxicants which is a violation of his bond conditions. He was taken into custody for misdemeanor bail jumping.

4/27- A resident called Village Hall and made a threat related to using a firearm to resolve an outstanding bill. The man was interviewed and cited for disorderly conduct.

4/29- A business owner contacted police to report the theft of catalytic converters from two vehicles. During the overnight hours, the catalytic converters were cut off and stolen. Cat converter thefts have been reported throughout southeastern Wisconsin. This matter is under investigation.

4/30 @ 5:51 p.m.- A battery charge was filed after a basketball game got heated. One adult player punched another player in the face during a game of pick-up basketball. An adult male was cited for battery causing injury.

March 2021 Activity Report

3/3 @ 2:27 p.m. – Officers were requested to respond under mutual aid from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office to Division Road to a two-vehicle crash. One vehicle had rolled over, and the driver had been ejected. Officers provided first aid and assisted with the crash.

3/3 @ 4:55 p.m. – An officer on patrol stopped a vehicle after observing the driver was texting while driving. The officer could smell the odor of burnt marijuana. A search of the vehicle yielded a small amount of marijuana. The driver was cited and released.

3/4 @ 6:48 a.m. – A hit and run crash was reported near Cranberry Creek. The suspect driver was identified and referred to the Washington County District Attorney’s Office for hit and run.

3/7 @ 4:04 p.m.- An officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The officer could smell the odor of burnt marijuana from inside the vehicle. A search of the vehicle yielded a small amount of marijuana, numerous items of drug paraphernalia, and a marijuana brownie. The driver was cited and released.

3/8 @ 10:57 p.m. – A resident on Georgetown drive reported that three windows had been broken on her vehicle. A responding officer apprehended the suspect who was fleeing the scene. The suspect admitted to smashing the windows with a tire iron. The suspect was referred to the District Attorney’s Office for criminal damage to property.

3/10 @ 2:00 p.m. – An adult male came to Municipal Court (Village Hall) with an active warrant for his arrest. He was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail.

3/10 @ 5:16 p.m. – On February 19, 2021, an adult male had fled a traffic stop from a Jackson officer at a high rate of speed. The officer had recognized the suspect and terminated the pursuit for safety reasons. The officer located the suspect on March 10, and he was taken into custody. Charges were requested for felony fleeing/ eluding and resisting an officer.

3/13 @ 2:11 a.m.- An officer stopped a vehicle that was illegally parked on Main Street. The driver was found to be under the influence of intoxicants (PBT .192). The driver was arrested for operating while under the influence (1st offense).

3/13 @ 11:34 a.m.- An officer stopped a vehicle for speeding (87 m.p.h./ 70 m.p.h. zone). The driver was cited for speeding and possession of drug paraphernalia.

3/19 @ 3:23 p.m.- A resident reported a personal check had been stolen and forged. This matter is under investigation.

3/19 @ 7:56 p.m.- An officer was dispatched to locate a vehicle that was involved in a disorderly conduct incident. The officer located the vehicle southbound on Highway 45. The suspect led the officer on a pursuit with speeds reaching 23 miles-per-hour. The vehicle eventually stopped at Pioneer Plaza in the Village of Richfield. The suspect refused the officers commands, and instead drank a can of beer and tossed the empty can across the parking lot. The suspect, a 36-year-old Milwaukee man, attempted to flee the scene on foot and a taser was used to take him into custody. He was arrested for operating while intoxicated (3rd offense, BAC .38%), fleeing and resisting arrest.

3/20 @ 4:28 p.m.- A suspect was taken into custody in the Village after fleeing from a Washington County deputy. A Jackson officer recognized the vehicle and took the driver into custody without incident.

3/21 @ 9:28 p.m. – A resident reported the theft of a package ($150 value) from the common area of a multi-family dwelling. This matter is under investigation.

3/22 @ 5:12 p.m. – A retail theft was reported at a local gas station. The suspect, who had stolen vodka from the store, was located and arrested. He was cited for retail theft and arrested for bail jumping due to an open case and cited for underage drinking (PBT .21).

3/24 @ 3:56 a.m.- Two suspects were taken into custody after an officer on patrol noticed them trespassing on the railroad tracks near North Center Street. The 20-year-old Lomira woman and 20-year-old Lomira man had a court order in effect ordering them not to have contact with each other. Both were arrested for bail jumping and cited for underage consumption of alcohol.

3/24 @ 12:45 p.m. – JPD received a report of a 4-year-old child that had walked alone one mile to the Community Center. Child Protective Services was contacted.

3/24- An adult was taken into protective custody.

3/28 @ 5:09 p.m.- Officers responded to a residence for a report of an intoxicated and disorderly adult male that was involved in a domestic disturbance. The adult male was arrested for bail jumping due to a court restriction that he does not consume alcohol (PBT .29). The jail initially refused to accept the suspect due to his high level of intoxication. After receiving medical clearance at a local hospital, the man was eventually accepted at the jail. Charges were also referred for domestic-related disorderly conduct and domestic-related battery.

3/28 @ 11:24 p.m.- A civil property exchange turned into a criminal matter when one of the individuals began shouting profanities at the other. The two adults had recently ended a relationship and had an argument about the property. When the female left, the male chased her in his car and ran her car off the road. Charges were referred to the District Attorney’s Office.

3/29 @ 12:26 a.m.- A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver was found to be under the influence (PBT .198). The driver was arrested for operating while under the influence (1st offense) and refused a blood draw. A K9 responded to the scene and alerted on the vehicle. Drug paraphernalia was found in the possession of a passenger. That passenger was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.

February 2021 Activity Report

2/4 @ 4:33 p.m.- A hit and run crash was reported in the Cedar Parkway roundabout. The suspect vehicle fled the scene but was located by a responding officer. The driver that had fled the scene was cited for driving too fast for conditions and hit and run.

2/12 @ 10:15 a.m.- A resident reported a computer scam. The victim had received a fraudulent email from a computer security company asking her to pay $199 to renew her subscription. The victim was tricked into sending $1,500 in gift cards to the scammer. This matter is under investigation.

2/13 @ 8:51 p.m. – Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance. An adult woman was arrested for domestic-related disorderly conduct and a probation hold.

2/14 @ 6:50 p.m.- Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance. An adult woman was arrested for domestic-related disorderly conduct.

2/15 @ 1:49 p.m. – An adult male was arrested for two outstanding warrants and a probation hold.

2/15 @ 4:27 p.m.- An officer responded to a call regarding a suspicious adult woman at a local gas station. The woman had a warrant for her arrest through the Department of Corrections. She was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail.

2/16- Officers took a resident into protective custody.

2/17 @ 5:21 p.m.- An officer stopped a vehicle that nearly caused a crash in the roundabout near Highway 45. The driver pulled over, handed his driver’s license to the officer, and then admitted to possessing drug paraphernalia under his seat. When the officer asked him to step out of the vehicle, the driver fled at a high rate of speed. A very short pursuit ensued, and the driver eventually pulled over after .4 miles and surrendered. Inside the vehicle officers located marijuana, prescription pills, drug paraphernalia and a white powdery substance. The driver was arrested, and multiple charges were filed with the Washington County District Attorney’s Office.

2/19 @ An officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver provided a false name and then fled the traffic stop at a high rate of speed. A short chase ensued which was terminated by the officer. The officer was able to identify the driver and he was later arrested, and multiple charges were filed with the Washington County District Attorney’s Office.

2/19- A local business reported the theft of pallets. This matter is under investigation.

2/19 @ 7:11 p.m. – Staff at a local hotel contacted the police department due to two guests that had made inappropriate comments to an 11-year-old girl. An adult male was arrested for a probation violation. An adult female was cited for disorderly conduct.

2/19 @ 9:00 p.m. – Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance. An adult male was arrested for domestic-related disorderly conduct.

2/21 – Officers responded to a report of an adult male that had overdosed on heroin. Medical attention was provided, and the man was then arrested for a probation violation. Officers located multiple controlled substances and charges were referred to the Washington County District Attorney’s Office.

2/22 @ 10:11 a.m.- An officer observed a vehicle travelling over 55 m.p.h. in a 35-m.p.h. zone. When the officer stopped the car, the driver was observed to be under the influence of intoxicants (PBT .248). The driver was arrested for operating while under the influence (1st offense) and speeding.

2/24 @ 2:11 a.m.- The West Bend Police Department requested our assistance while pursuing a fleeing vehicle southbound on Highway 45. The Jackson officer successfully deployed spike strips which punctured the tires of the fleeing vehicle and brought the pursuit to a stop. The suspects were taken into custody by the West Bend Police Department.

2/24 @ 4:06 p.m.- An adult male was taken into custody for an outstanding Waukesha County warrant.

2/24 @ 6:32 p.m.- A complaint was received of a vehicle driving on STH 60 with a flat tire. An officer located the vehicle. A passenger provided a false name. When her real identity was determined, we learned that she had two outstanding warrants for her arrest. She was arrested and transported to the jail.

2/24 @ 5:08 p.m. – A retail theft complaint was received from Walgreens. An adult female stole three bottles of perfume valued at $198.37. This matter is under investigation.

2/26 @ 2:15 p.m. – Officers responded to a local manufacturing facility for a report of a truck driver that had armed himself with a knife. Upon arrival, officers diffused an argument which had occurred between two adult men. One adult man was cited for disorderly conduct.

2/28- Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance. An adult male was arrested for violating a domestic abuse injunction. An adult female was arrested for domestic-related disorderly conduct.


January 2021

1/2 @ 1:43 a.m. – We were requested to look for a vehicle that may have been involved in a burglary in Germantown. An officer located the vehicle on Highway 45 and stopped it. The three occupants were turned over to the Germantown Police Department. The driver was also cited for operating with a revoked driver’s license.

1/2 @ 8:06 a.m. – An officer on patrol conducted a routine license plate check of a vehicle and noticed that the license plates were registered to a different vehicle. The officer stopped the vehicle and found that the driver had a warrant for her arrest. She was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail.

1/5 – Officers assisted Walgreens with a fraudulent prescription that was called in to their pharmacy. This matter is under investigation.

1/7 – Officers responded to a domestic disturbance between two adults. An adult female was arrested for domestic-related disorderly conduct. Charges were referred to the Washington County District Attorney’s Office.

1/9 – A resident reported that their credit card had been fraudulently used on-line to purchase a big-screen tv and orange juice at a Wal-Mart in Chilton. This matter is under investigation.

1/10 – A resident reported being scammed out of $1,500 while trying to contact Apple Technical Support. The resident had googled the number for Apple and called a number which showed up in the search results. That number happened to be a scammer. This matter is under investigation.

1/13- A resident received a voicemail from a scammer that she owed $400. She called the number back and was tricked into allowing the scammer remote access to her computer, and bank account. The victim lost $999 as a result of this scam. The investigation showed that the money was wired to Costa Rica. This matter is under investigation.

1/14 @ 5:12 p.m. – An officer recognized a man in a parked vehicle and knew that the man had warrants for his arrest. The man was taken into custody without incident related to two Washington County warrants and one Dodge County warrant.

1/14 @ 6:36 p.m.- An officer responded to a report of a vehicle in the ditch on Main Street near Cedar Parkway. The driver of the vehicle was under the influence of alcohol (PBT .29) and thought he was on Hampton Drive in Milwaukee. The driver was arrested for operating while under the influence (2nd offense) and taken to the Washington County Jail.

1/16 @ 2:18 a.m. – An officer stopped a vehicle for operating with suspended registration. The driver appeared to be under the influence of an intoxicant (PBT .099). The driver was arrested for operating while under the influence (2nd offense).

1/18 @ 10:25 p.m.- Officers and Jackson Rescue responded to a report of a drug overdose. The victim was revived. A substance believed to be heroin was collected and sent to the crime lab for testing.

1/23 @ 4:22 a.m.- An officer responded to a 911 call at the Jackson Motel and found a man that was under the influence and had a clandestine drug lab in his room. After further investigation, it was determined that the man had been manufacturing Dimethyltryptamine (DMT), a schedule I hallucinogenic controlled substance.
Due to the potential hazards when working with volatile substances, the Jackson Police Department was assisted by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit, the Wisconsin Department of Justice – Division of Criminal Investigation Clandestine Lab Response Team, and the Wisconsin State Patrol. The clandestine lab was dismantled and no longer poses a potential threat. Charges were filed against the suspect for manufacturing a controlled substance.

1/23 @ 5:46 p.m.- Officers were investigating a hit and run crash, when they found one of the vehicles involved parked at a local business. The owner of the vehicle has convictions and a protection order in place that ban him from possessing firearms. Several firearms and a crack pipe were in the vehicle. This matter is under investigation.

1/24 – Officers assisted a person in crisis and took them into protective custody.

1/24- Officers investigated a physical domestic disturbance between two adults. An adult female had fled the scene prior to officer’s arrival. Charges were referred to the Washington County District Attorney’s Office.

December 2020

12/3 @ 2:05 a.m. – Officer Andrew Mueller, while on patrol Thursday morning, spotted an injured snowy owl in the middle of CTH P near Hasmer Lake. With the assistance of other officers, the owl was able to be corralled and transported to Wanakia Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center in Richfield.

12/6 @ 9:10 p.m.- An officer on patrol observed a speeding vehicle on Hickory Lane. The officer stopped the vehicle and noticed that the driver had been drinking. The driver failed a field sobriety test (PBT .222) and was arrested for operating while under the influence (3rd offense).

12/7 @ 10:27 p.m.- An officer on patrol observed a vehicle travelling at 94-m.p.h. in a 70-m.p.h. zone. The driver didn’t immediately stop when the officer activated the squad car’s emergency lights. The vehicle finally stopped several miles south of the village. The driver identified himself as someone else, but the officer was able to determine his identity. The man was arrested for two outstanding warrants through Waukesha County and cited for speeding, operating while suspended, and unsafe lane deviation.

12/8 @ 9:41 p.m., a passer-by reported a woman laying in a snowbank by the roundabout on Main Street at Hwy 45. An officer located the 88-year-old woman that was injured and disoriented. Jackson Rescue responded and transported her to a local hospital.

12/11@ 7:55 p.m.- Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at a residence. An adult male was arrested for three counts of domestic-related disorderly conduct, domestic battery, two warrants and resisting/obstructing an officer. He was transported to the Washington County Jail.

12/11 – After a lengthy investigation, the Jackson Police Department served a search warrant on Friday, December 11 at a residence in the Village. An adult male was taken into custody and multiple items of suspected child pornography were located. Charges are pending at the Washington County District Attorney’s Office. We were assisted at the scene by the Wisconsin Department of Justice- Division of Criminal Investigation.

12/15- Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance between an adult woman and her adult son. The adult woman was arrested for domestic-related battery and felony bail jumping.

12/18 @ 12:26 p.m.- An officer was sent to a local fast-food restaurant for a report of a driver that had just gone through the drive-through and then passed out in her vehicle. The officer located the woman and noticed an open beer can in a cupholder. The woman was arrested for operating while under the influence (3rd offense), operating after revocation, failure to install ignition interlock device and misdemeanor bail jumping.

12/21 @ 1:28 p.m.- The same driver from the fast-food restaurant incident was again observed driving with a revoked driver’s license. She was again cited for operating after revocation and failure to install an ignition interlock device.

12/22 @ 11:31 p.m. – An officer on patrol observed a vehicle being operated without taillights. The officer stopped the vehicle and determined that the driver had multiple warrants for his arrest. The driver was cited for operating while suspended and arrested for the warrants.

12/25 – Officers were sent to a residence to investigate a report of a domestic disturbance. An adult male was arrested to domestic-related disorderly conduct.

12/26 – Officers responded to a report of a physical fight between two adult males. One of the males sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital. This matter is under investigation.

12/29 – Officers assisted an adult that required protective custody placement.

12/30 @ 12:22 a.m.- Officers were called to a local business after an employee was found to be under the influence. The suspect had five open criminal cases which required her to maintain absolute sobriety. The adult woman resisted arrest while trying to hide a crack pipe. She was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail. Charges have been requested for possession of drug paraphernalia and five counts of bail jumping.

11/3 @ 7:36 p.m. – An erratic driver was reported in the drive-through area at McDonald’s. The driver was going back and forth and nearly struck the building. An officer responded and observed that the driver was under the influence (.18 breath alcohol concentration). The adult female driver was arrested for operating while under the influence (1st offense).

11/6 – Two businesses reported that they received counterfeit $100 bills. This matter is under investigation.

11/6 – Officers were called to a domestic disturbance between two married adults. A physical confrontation had occurred and one of the adults required medical attention. The adult male was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct and battery.

11/9 – Officers assisted with an out of control juvenile. The child was calmed down and referred to juvenile services.

11/10 – A resident reported a theft from his unlocked vehicle during the overnight hours. Stolen items include: A wallet containing $300 cash, credit cards, and the key fob for the vehicle.
This occurred on Spring Ridge Drive. The empty wallet was eventually located on Parkview Drive. This matter is under investigation.

11/10 – A resident report a theft from her unlocked vehicle during the overnight hours. Stolen items include: a Benelli Nova 12-guage pump action shotgun and a weighted vest. This occurred on Oakwood Drive. This matter is under investigation.

11/10 – Officers were conducting a follow-up to a child neglect investigation at a residence. An adult woman admitted to smoking crack and provided the officer with her crack pipe. The woman was arrested for a probation violation, possession of cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

11/10- An officer was sent to McDonald’s to locate an adult male that had just stolen beer from the Main Street Mart. Officers located the man in his vehicle, drinking the stolen beer. The man was observed to be under the influence. The officer located two pipes used to smoke methamphetamine in the vehicle. The man became unresponsive on two occasions while being transported to jail. EMS was summoned and he was taken to a hospital for medical clearance. He was eventually taken to jail and charged with operating while under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia, theft, and operating without a valid driver’s license (2nd offense).

11/11 – A resident on Raymond Road reported that they believe their unlocked vehicle was entered during the overnight hours. Nothing was believed to be missing.

11/11 – A local business reported an internal theft by an employee. The employee was interviewed and cited for theft (two counts).

11/12 – A resident reported thefts from two unlocked vehicles during the overnight hours. Stolen items include gift cards and a debit card. This matter is under investigation. This occurred on Raymond Road.

11/12 – An officer responded to a report of an erratic driver on Main Street. The officer observed the vehicle operating left of the center line. The officer stopped the vehicle and observed that the driver was under the influence (.15 breath alcohol). The driver was cited for operating while under the influence, operating while suspended, and possession of THC (marijuana).

11/13- A vehicle was reported stolen during the overnight hours on Chateau Drive. The vehicle is a dark grey 2014 Dodge Journey with Wisconsin license plate 254-WCK. This matter is under investigation.

11/13 @ 8:21 p.m.- Officers responded to Jackson Park located at W204 N16901 Jackson Drive for a report of a man with a gun. A group of teenagers and young adults reported that a male had approached them and told them to leave the park. It was reported that the man had a handgun in his hand and pointed it at a 15-year-old girl.
Officers searched the park with the assistance of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit. The suspect was not located. The suspect is described as a white male in his twenties, 5’05”-5’06” tall, with blonde hair, a blonde beard, blue eyes, wearing a black shirt and khakis. Anyone with information on the identity of the suspect is asked to contact the Jackson Police Department at (262) 677-4949, or by contacting the Washington County Law Enforcement Tip Line at (800) 232-0594. Our investigation into this matter continues.

11/14 @ 3:09 a.m. – An officer on patrol clocked a vehicle at 112 m.p.h. in a 70-m.p.h. zone. The officer stopped the car and determined that the driver was under the influence. The driver was arrested for OWI (1st offense). His preliminary breath test was .177. After a blood test, he was taken to the Washington County Jail.

11/17- Officers responded to a report of a domestic violence incident. An adult male was arrested for domestic-related disorderly conduct.

11/18 @ 10:27 p.m. – An officer responded to a report of a wrong-way driver on Highway 45. The driver was travelling at 80-m.p.h. northbound in the southbound lane. The vehicle failed to stop for the officers. A Jackson police officer was able to deploy spike strips north of West Bend which deflated the tires and caused the vehicle to come to a stop, ending this highly dangerous situation. The driver was a disoriented, elderly Illinois man. He reported that he was driving from Michigan to Illinois. The man was transported to a hospital for evaluation.

11/20- A resident reported being the victim of an internet scam. The resident met someone on a dating site and was tricked into sending the scammer nearly $9,000. The investigating officer identified a suspect in California. This matter is under investigation.

10/1 @ 1:11 p.m. – The West Bend Police Department advised us of a retail theft suspect travelling south on Highway 45. A Jackson officer located the vehicle on Highway 45 operating in excess of 100 m.p.h. The officer terminated the pursuit due to safety concerns. The suspect vehicle was later observed by a Wisconsin State Trooper travelling at 130 m.p.h.

10/1 – Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance. The male suspect had fled the scene prior to officer’s arrival. The victim had injuries as a result of the altercation. The suspect was located by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and taken into custody. The suspect, who was already on federal probation, was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct, strangulation, criminal damage to property, domestic battery, and possession of methamphetamine.

10/7- Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance. An adult male had damaged property within the residence. He was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct and taken to jail.

10/7 – A citizen reported a vehicle driving erratically. The officer on duty located the erratic driver and stopped the car. The driver had been drinking and was subsequently arrested for operating while under the influence (1st offense). His preliminary breath test showed an alcohol concentration of .171. After processing, he was released to a responsible party.

10/10 – Piggly Wiggly reported the retail theft of four to six bottles of alcohol. We issued a crime alert to other police departments asking to help identify the suspects. We received assistance from the Saukville and Sheboygan PD with identifying the suspects. Charges are pending.

10/11 @ 2:43 a.m.- A physical fight was reported outside a local tavern. Two people had serious, but non-life-threatening injuries requiring medical attention. This matter is under investigation.

10/14 @ 2:03 a.m. – An officer on patrol observed a vehicle travelling at 92 m.p.h. in a 70-m.p.h. zone. The driver had been drinking (PBT .191) and was arrested for operating while under the influence (1st offense).

10/14 – A resident reported that her ex-boyfriend was sleeping on her couch when he woke up and fired a shotgun round through her television. No injuries were reported. The suspect reported that he had been drinking alcohol and must have woken up in a semi-conscious state and shot his shotgun at the tv. This matter is under investigation.

10/14 – Officers investigated a report of child endangerment. It was reported that a mother was providing THC gummies to her son. Charges were referred to the Washington County District Attorney’s Office.

10/26- Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance. An adult woman was reported to be kicking garbage cans into the street. She was located while hiding in a utility closet. The woman had three open cases that included an order that she not consume alcohol. At the time of her arrest, her PBT was .146. She was arrested for three counts of bail jumping, disorderly conduct, and a probation hold.

10/27 @ 11:10 p.m. – the Washington County Dispatch Center was notified of a domestic violence incident at a residence on Ridgeway Drive in the Village of Jackson. Officers responded to the scene and found two victims that had been stabbed by a family member. The suspect, a 33-year-old Jackson man, was taken into custody. The victims’ injuries were serious, but not life threatening. They were treated and released at a local hospital. The following charges were filed by the Washington County District Attorney’s Office: Count 1: First Degree Reckless Injury, use of a dangerous weapon, count 2: First Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, use of a dangerous weapon. Count 3: Second Degree Reckless Injury, use of a dangerous weapon, count 4: Second Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, Use of a dangerous weapon.

September 2020 Activity Report

9/1 – Officers responded to a report of a vehicle on fire at a Main Street business. The Jackson Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire. There was extensive damage to the vehicle. The cause of the fire is under investigation but is not believed to be suspicious.

9/3 @ 1:26 a.m. – Officers responded to a domestic disturbance. An adult male was arrested for domestic-related disorderly conduct and transported to the Washington County Jail.

9/3 @ 3:20 a.m. – Officers responded to a domestic disturbance between two adults. An adult woman had attacked her boyfriend with a butcher knife causing serious, but not life-threatening injuries. The woman was arrested for domestic-related battery (while armed), and second-degree recklessly endangering safety. She was transported to the Washington County Jail.

9/3 @ 3:58 p.m.- The victim from the 1:26 a.m. domestic disturbance reported that the arrested subject had violated the 72-hour no contact order three separate times. The man was arrested again and charged with violating the 72-hour no contact order.

9/5 @ 12:19 a.m.- An officer on patrol observed a speeding vehicle. The vehicle was slow to pull over but eventually stopped for the officer. The driver did not have a driver’s license and the officer could see a bag of marijuana in the car. The driver also had a warrant for her arrest through the New Berlin Police Department. The driver was cited for operating without a license, unregistered vehicle, and possession of THC (marijuana).

9/6 @ 3:31 p.m. – Officers responded to a report of an unresponsive male that had overdosed on cocaine. Upon arrival, officers located the man and rendered aid until he could be transported to a local hospital. Officers located multiple items of drug paraphernalia and suspected cocaine. Charges are pending and the caller was arrested for a warrant.

9/9 @ 9:17 a.m.- An adult male violated a temporary restraining order (TRO) and confronted a woman at her house and stated he had a gun. When officers arrived, he fled in a vehicle and refused to stop. The suspect failed to stop at a stop sign and was speeding in excess of 50 m.p.h. on village streets. The suspect finally stopped at a residence and demanded that the officers shoot him. The officers were able to take him into custody without incident. He was charged with fleeing an officer, stalking, violation of a TRO, domestic disorderly conduct and operating after revocation.

9/9 @ 1:46 p.m. – The Department of Corrections requested that officers attempt to arrest a man that had a warrant. Officers made contact with the man and found him to be highly intoxicated (PBT .316), which is a violation of his probation. He was taken into custody.

9/10 @ 2:38 a.m.- An officer noticed a vehicle driving on a closed road and initiated a traffic stop. There was an open bottle of alcohol in the vehicle and the driver had been drinking. He
was arrested for operating while under the influence (3rd Offense), open intoxicants and possession of THC (marijuana). He was transported to the jail.

9/12 @ 9:06 a.m. – A residential burglary was reported. At 4:15 a.m., an unidentified male entered the residence through an unlocked door and took items from the refrigerator. This matter is under investigation.

9/12 @ 8:10 p.m. – Officers responded to a residence for a report of a domestic disturbance. An adult male was arrested for domestic-related disorderly conduct and transported to the jail.

9/13 @ 10:51 p.m.- Officers responded to a residence for a report of a domestic disturbance. An adult woman reported that her ex-boyfriend had forced his way into her apartment and taken items. The man fled the residence prior to the officer’s arrival. With the assistance of the Slinger Police Department, the man was located and taken into custody. Charges were referred for domestic-related disorderly conduct, trespassing, three counts of felony bail jumping, and one count of misdemeanor bail jumping.

9/13 @ 12:53 a.m. – An officer observed a vehicle travelling 107-mph in a 70-mph zone. The officer stopped the vehicle and observed that the adult male had been drinking. The man failed field sobriety testing and his PBT was .187. He was arrested for operating while under the influence (2nd offense).

9/17 @ 8:16 a.m.- A resident was a victim of a phone scam and was conned into purchasing and providing $7,500 in gift cards. This matter is under investigation.

9/19 @ 5:24 p.m. – Officers responded to a report of a vehicle that had crashed into the building at Walgreens. The officers arrived and found the driver of the vehicle was unconscious from a suspected drug overdose. The officers rendered aid until the man was transported to a local hospital. The officers located heroin, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. The driver was eventually arrested for operating while under the influence (3rd offense), two counts of felony bail jumping, and multiple charges related to the drugs and paraphernalia.

9/21 – An adult was taken into protective custody.

9/21- A resident was a victim of the “WE Energies” scam. The victim had received a phone call from a scammer pretending to be WE Energies threatening to disconnect service unless immediate payment was made. The victim purchased a Moneypak card for $500 and transferred the funds to the scammer. This matter is under investigation. We would like to remind our residents that if they are in doubt about the authenticity of a caller, hang up and call the business directly.

9/26 @ 12:52 p.m. – Officers were requested to check the welfare of an adult woman. The woman was located at her ex-boyfriend’s house. The ex-boyfriend was court-ordered not to have contact with her due to a pending case. Bail jumping charges were referred to the District Attorney’s Office for the adult male.

9/26 @ 7:35 p.m. – Officers investigated a report of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to an adult male. The victim was a passenger in a vehicle who was handling a pistol when he accidentally shot himself in the foot. He received medical treatment and no one else was injured. This matter is under investigation.

9/28 @ 8:14 p.m. – Officers responded to a report of a disorderly adult woman at a residence. An adult woman was arrested for disorderly conduct, misdemeanor and felony bail jumping, and a probation hold.

8/1 at 3:25 a.m. – An officer on patrol observed a suspicious vehicle operating near Living Word Lane. The officer stopped the vehicle and the driver was found to be intoxicated (PBT .154). The driver was on parole for seven prior operating while under the influence (OWI) charges. The driver refused the blood draw and a search warrant was obtained. The driver was eventually transported to the Washington County Jail and charged with OWI 8th offense.

8/2 – An officer on patrol initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle that was displaying the wrong license plates. The driver had a revoked driver’s license and two warrants for his arrest. He was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail.

8/4 – Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance between two adults. An adult woman was injured during the disturbance. When officers arrived on scene, they discovered that the male suspect had fled. He was eventually located and arrested for domestic battery and felony bail jumping.

8/5 at 11:33 a.m. – Officers responded to a report of a robbery at Walgreens. The suspect implied he had a weapon and left with a cash drawer with an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect fled southbound on Highway 45 in a black four-door sedan. The Jackson Police Department issued a crime alert to neighboring law enforcement agencies requesting assistance with locating and identifying the robbery suspect. On Thursday, August 6, 2020 the Milwaukee Police Department located and arrested the robbery suspect. The suspect is a 30-year-old Delafield man. He is in custody and charges have been referred to the Washington County District Attorney’s Office. We are grateful for the assistance from the Milwaukee Police Department.
8/7 at 9:56 p.m. – An officer on patrol noticed a vehicle being operated without any functioning taillights. The officer stopped the vehicle and could smell the odor of intoxicants. The driver was arrested for OWI (1st) (PBT .109).
8/9 – A motorcycle crash was reported in the marshy area near Eagle Drive. The driver fled into the woods but was later located. Charges were referred to the District Attorney’s Office.
8/14 – Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance between two adult men. The suspect admitted to punching his roommate in the face after an argument. The suspect was arrested for domestic battery.

8/18 – An adult was taken into protective custody.

8/20 An adult was taken into protective custody.

8/20- Another adult was taken into protective custody.

8/21 at 2:31 a.m. – An officer on patrol observed a vehicle operating without any functioning taillights. The officer stopped the vehicle and could smell the odor of intoxicants. The driver was arrested for OWI (1st) (PBT .19).

8/23 at 3:50 a.m. – An officer on patrol observed a vehicle that was deviating from its lane. The officer stopped the vehicle and could smell the odor of intoxicants. The driver was arrested for OWI (3rd) (refused PBT). An additional charge was filed for failing to install an ignition interlock device (IID).

8/27 – Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance which resulted in injuries to an adult woman. The suspect was arrested for strangulation, battery, criminal damage to property, disorderly conduct and felony bail jumping.

The Jackson Police Department has concluded the missing persons investigation related to the July 27, 2020 disappearance of Stephen Lombard. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a 34-year-old Town of Addison man in connection with this investigation. Stephen Lombard was last seen by his mother leaving their residence in the Village of Jackson in the company of the 34-year-old Town of Addison man in the early evening of July 27th.
The Village of Jackson Police Department led the original missing person investigation and was later assisted by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office as well as the Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigations. Officer Jennifer Gerke invested many hours of dedicated service to seek closure for the family with this case. We greatly appreciate the assistance and resources provided by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and the Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI).
