September 2020 Activity Report
9/1 – Officers responded to a report of a vehicle on fire at a Main Street business. The Jackson Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire. There was extensive damage to the vehicle. The cause of the fire is under investigation but is not believed to be suspicious.
9/3 @ 1:26 a.m. – Officers responded to a domestic disturbance. An adult male was arrested for domestic-related disorderly conduct and transported to the Washington County Jail.
9/3 @ 3:20 a.m. – Officers responded to a domestic disturbance between two adults. An adult woman had attacked her boyfriend with a butcher knife causing serious, but not life-threatening injuries. The woman was arrested for domestic-related battery (while armed), and second-degree recklessly endangering safety. She was transported to the Washington County Jail.
9/3 @ 3:58 p.m.- The victim from the 1:26 a.m. domestic disturbance reported that the arrested subject had violated the 72-hour no contact order three separate times. The man was arrested again and charged with violating the 72-hour no contact order.
9/5 @ 12:19 a.m.- An officer on patrol observed a speeding vehicle. The vehicle was slow to pull over but eventually stopped for the officer. The driver did not have a driver’s license and the officer could see a bag of marijuana in the car. The driver also had a warrant for her arrest through the New Berlin Police Department. The driver was cited for operating without a license, unregistered vehicle, and possession of THC (marijuana).
9/6 @ 3:31 p.m. – Officers responded to a report of an unresponsive male that had overdosed on cocaine. Upon arrival, officers located the man and rendered aid until he could be transported to a local hospital. Officers located multiple items of drug paraphernalia and suspected cocaine. Charges are pending and the caller was arrested for a warrant.
9/9 @ 9:17 a.m.- An adult male violated a temporary restraining order (TRO) and confronted a woman at her house and stated he had a gun. When officers arrived, he fled in a vehicle and refused to stop. The suspect failed to stop at a stop sign and was speeding in excess of 50 m.p.h. on village streets. The suspect finally stopped at a residence and demanded that the officers shoot him. The officers were able to take him into custody without incident. He was charged with fleeing an officer, stalking, violation of a TRO, domestic disorderly conduct and operating after revocation.
9/9 @ 1:46 p.m. – The Department of Corrections requested that officers attempt to arrest a man that had a warrant. Officers made contact with the man and found him to be highly intoxicated (PBT .316), which is a violation of his probation. He was taken into custody.
9/10 @ 2:38 a.m.- An officer noticed a vehicle driving on a closed road and initiated a traffic stop. There was an open bottle of alcohol in the vehicle and the driver had been drinking. He
was arrested for operating while under the influence (3rd Offense), open intoxicants and possession of THC (marijuana). He was transported to the jail.
9/12 @ 9:06 a.m. – A residential burglary was reported. At 4:15 a.m., an unidentified male entered the residence through an unlocked door and took items from the refrigerator. This matter is under investigation.
9/12 @ 8:10 p.m. – Officers responded to a residence for a report of a domestic disturbance. An adult male was arrested for domestic-related disorderly conduct and transported to the jail.
9/13 @ 10:51 p.m.- Officers responded to a residence for a report of a domestic disturbance. An adult woman reported that her ex-boyfriend had forced his way into her apartment and taken items. The man fled the residence prior to the officer’s arrival. With the assistance of the Slinger Police Department, the man was located and taken into custody. Charges were referred for domestic-related disorderly conduct, trespassing, three counts of felony bail jumping, and one count of misdemeanor bail jumping.
9/13 @ 12:53 a.m. – An officer observed a vehicle travelling 107-mph in a 70-mph zone. The officer stopped the vehicle and observed that the adult male had been drinking. The man failed field sobriety testing and his PBT was .187. He was arrested for operating while under the influence (2nd offense).
9/17 @ 8:16 a.m.- A resident was a victim of a phone scam and was conned into purchasing and providing $7,500 in gift cards. This matter is under investigation.
9/19 @ 5:24 p.m. – Officers responded to a report of a vehicle that had crashed into the building at Walgreens. The officers arrived and found the driver of the vehicle was unconscious from a suspected drug overdose. The officers rendered aid until the man was transported to a local hospital. The officers located heroin, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. The driver was eventually arrested for operating while under the influence (3rd offense), two counts of felony bail jumping, and multiple charges related to the drugs and paraphernalia.
9/21 – An adult was taken into protective custody.
9/21- A resident was a victim of the “WE Energies” scam. The victim had received a phone call from a scammer pretending to be WE Energies threatening to disconnect service unless immediate payment was made. The victim purchased a Moneypak card for $500 and transferred the funds to the scammer. This matter is under investigation. We would like to remind our residents that if they are in doubt about the authenticity of a caller, hang up and call the business directly.
9/26 @ 12:52 p.m. – Officers were requested to check the welfare of an adult woman. The woman was located at her ex-boyfriend’s house. The ex-boyfriend was court-ordered not to have contact with her due to a pending case. Bail jumping charges were referred to the District Attorney’s Office for the adult male.
9/26 @ 7:35 p.m. – Officers investigated a report of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to an adult male. The victim was a passenger in a vehicle who was handling a pistol when he accidentally shot himself in the foot. He received medical treatment and no one else was injured. This matter is under investigation.
9/28 @ 8:14 p.m. – Officers responded to a report of a disorderly adult woman at a residence. An adult woman was arrested for disorderly conduct, misdemeanor and felony bail jumping, and a probation hold.

8/1 at 3:25 a.m. – An officer on patrol observed a suspicious vehicle operating near Living Word Lane. The officer stopped the vehicle and the driver was found to be intoxicated (PBT .154). The driver was on parole for seven prior operating while under the influence (OWI) charges. The driver refused the blood draw and a search warrant was obtained. The driver was eventually transported to the Washington County Jail and charged with OWI 8th offense.
8/2 – An officer on patrol initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle that was displaying the wrong license plates. The driver had a revoked driver’s license and two warrants for his arrest. He was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail.
8/4 – Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance between two adults. An adult woman was injured during the disturbance. When officers arrived on scene, they discovered that the male suspect had fled. He was eventually located and arrested for domestic battery and felony bail jumping.
8/5 at 11:33 a.m. – Officers responded to a report of a robbery at Walgreens. The suspect implied he had a weapon and left with a cash drawer with an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect fled southbound on Highway 45 in a black four-door sedan. The Jackson Police Department issued a crime alert to neighboring law enforcement agencies requesting assistance with locating and identifying the robbery suspect. On Thursday, August 6, 2020 the Milwaukee Police Department located and arrested the robbery suspect. The suspect is a 30-year-old Delafield man. He is in custody and charges have been referred to the Washington County District Attorney’s Office. We are grateful for the assistance from the Milwaukee Police Department.
8/7 at 9:56 p.m. – An officer on patrol noticed a vehicle being operated without any functioning taillights. The officer stopped the vehicle and could smell the odor of intoxicants. The driver was arrested for OWI (1st) (PBT .109).
8/9 – A motorcycle crash was reported in the marshy area near Eagle Drive. The driver fled into the woods but was later located. Charges were referred to the District Attorney’s Office.
8/14 – Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance between two adult men. The suspect admitted to punching his roommate in the face after an argument. The suspect was arrested for domestic battery.
8/18 – An adult was taken into protective custody.

8/20- Another adult was taken into protective custody.
8/21 at 2:31 a.m. – An officer on patrol observed a vehicle operating without any functioning taillights. The officer stopped the vehicle and could smell the odor of intoxicants. The driver was arrested for OWI (1st) (PBT .19).
8/23 at 3:50 a.m. – An officer on patrol observed a vehicle that was deviating from its lane. The officer stopped the vehicle and could smell the odor of intoxicants. The driver was arrested for OWI (3rd) (refused PBT). An additional charge was filed for failing to install an ignition interlock device (IID).
8/27 – Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance which resulted in injuries to an adult woman. The suspect was arrested for strangulation, battery, criminal damage to property, disorderly conduct and felony bail jumping.
The Jackson Police Department has concluded the missing persons investigation related to the July 27, 2020 disappearance of Stephen Lombard. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a 34-year-old Town of Addison man in connection with this investigation. Stephen Lombard was last seen by his mother leaving their residence in the Village of Jackson in the company of the 34-year-old Town of Addison man in the early evening of July 27th.
The Village of Jackson Police Department led the original missing person investigation and was later assisted by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office as well as the Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigations. Officer Jennifer Gerke invested many hours of dedicated service to seek closure for the family with this case. We greatly appreciate the assistance and resources provided by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and the Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI).

7/3- An adult was taken into protective custody.
7/5- Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance. An adult male was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct and transported to the Washington County Jail.
7/7- Two suspects took a cart full of alcohol from Piggly Wiggly without paying for it. The suspect vehicle was located on Interstate 41 near Germantown by the Wisconsin State Patrol. A traffic stop was initiated, and the vehicle stopped, and the driver and passenger provided their driver’s licenses to the trooper. The vehicle then fled southbound. Since the suspects were identified, the trooper did not pursue. Charges are being referred to the District Attorney’s Office for Retail Theft and Bail jumping.
7/11– Officers assisted the Jackson Fire Department with a fire at a multi-unit apartment building on Georgetown Drive.
7/13- Officers assisted the Slinger Police Department with a traffic stop on STH 60 near Hillside Road. A Slinger officer had stopped a vehicle and observed that a passenger in the vehicle had a warrant for his arrest. The suspect armed himself with an 8” knife and held it to his own throat, threatening suicide. After a 1.5-hour standoff, the man surrendered without incident and was taken into custody.
7/14 @ 12:27 a.m.- Officers responded to a prowler complaint at Green Valley. The suspect fled from officers in a vehicle, and then on foot. After a two-hour search for the suspect, he was located and again fled on foot. A short foot pursuit took place and the man was taken into custody without incident. Charges are pending with the District Attorney’s Office.
7/15 @ 2:50 p.m.- Officers responded to call at a local assisted living facility for an adult man that had armed himself with a knife and threatened to kill himself. Prior to the officer’s arrival, he cut his neck and wrist. Officer Trevarthen and Detective Foeger immediately responded and were able to stabilize the man and wrestle the knife away from him. He was taken into protective custody and received medical treatment.
7/15 @ 9:32 p.m.– Officers investigated a report of a restraining order violation. An adult male had contacted a woman that he was prohibited from contacting. The man was already in jail on other charges. Charges were referred to the Washington County District Attorney’s Office.
7/22- An officer on patrol noticed a vehicle travelling at 94 m.p.h. in a 70-m.p.h zone. The driver didn’t have a driver’s license and had already been convicted three times this year for operating without a license. The driver was also on parole for robbery and wasn’t allowed to be driving a vehicle with expired registration. He was taken into custody for operating without a valid license and bail jumping.
7/25 @ 3:20 p.m. – Officers observed a subject who they believed had a warrant for his arrest. The man denied being the person who had a warrant. After further questioning and investigation it was determined that the man was lying about his identity and he was arrested.
7/28- An officer observed a vehicle backing unsafely in a roundabout on Main Street. The officer stopped the vehicle and could smell the odor of burnt marijuana in the car. A marijuana cigarette and drug paraphernalia were located. The driver was cited for operating with a suspended driver’s license, unsafe backing and possession of THC (marijuana).
7/30 @ 12:16 a.m.- Officers responded to a report by an adult male that he had been assaulted at the park and ride by two unknown suspects, who then stole his vehicle. The vehicle was located several hours later stuck in the trees by the river on Church Road. The steering column and ignition had been damaged. After further investigation, the owner of the vehicle admitted that the vehicle hadn’t been stolen. The original caller that reported the assault had crashed the car and devised a plan to falsely report the vehicle as stolen to cover up the crash. The caller was cited for obstructing a police officer.

6/2 @ 4:38 a.m. – An officer was sent to a report of a crash with injuries in the roundabout near HWY 45 and STH 60. One adult male had been ejected from a moped and was taken to the hospital. The driver of the vehicle that pulled out in front of the moped was cited for failure to yield.
6/2 – An adult woman called 911 to report that she had stabbed herself in the chest and neck during a domestic disturbance. The woman was hospitalized due to her injuries. She was eventually taken into protective custody.
6/5 – An adult in crisis was taken into protective custody.
6/6 @ 7:24 p.m. – A reckless driver nearly caused a crash on Main Street on Saturday evening. Officers located the suspect who had barricaded himself inside of a residence that he had been prohibited by the courts to occupy. After over an hour of negotiations, the suspect was taken into custody. He required medical treatment and was transported to the hospital. The man refused to cooperate with the medical staff and was eventually transported to the Washington County Jail. He refused to comply with the booking procedures but was booked on felony bail jumping charges. Numerous traffic citations were also issued.
6/7 @ 4:09 a.m. – An officer on patrol noticed a vehicle operating without headlamps. The driver stated that he had removed the head lamps because, “life is short, and I can make my own decisions”. The driver was cited for operating without headlamps and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
6/8 – An adult in crisis was taken into protective custody.
6/11 @ 11:11 a.m.- A Thursday morning traffic stop resulted in a drug arrest. The officer could smell the odor of marijuana as he approached the driver. The officer searched the vehicle and located a bag containing over 35 grams of marijuana (THC). The driver was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance and a probation violation.
6/11 @ 5:39 p.m. – Officers responded and assisted with an industrial fire at Amundson Insulation.
6/11 @ 11:13 p.m.- Officers responded to a vehicle stuck in the ditch on Main Street on Thursday evening. The adult male driver was trying to turn into his driveway when he turned one block too soon, in a location where there was no driveway. The driver was highly intoxicated, and his preliminary breath test was over a .20 (legal limit .08). The man had two minor passengers in the vehicle, a 10-year-old and a 3-year-old. He was arrested for operating while under the influence with minor passengers and taken to jail.
6/12 – An adult in crisis was taken into protective custody.
6/12 – A theft of $750 was reported from a local business. The suspect was interviewed and found to have a warrant for his arrest through the Department of Corrections. He was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail.
6/18 – An officer investigated a threats complaint. A man reported that his ex-girlfriend threatened to kill him. Charges were referred to the district attorney’s office.
6/20 @12:55 a.m.- An officer on patrol stopped a vehicle that had the wrong license plates on it. The driver exhibited signs of intoxication and was arrested for Operating While Under the Influence (1st). PBT was .172%. The driver also received a citation for being in possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.
6/22 @ 10:36 a.m. – An officer on patrol observed a vehicle driving recklessly. The officer stopped the vehicle and the driver repeatedly lied about his identity. The officer was able to compare a jail booking photo with the registered owner and determined that the driver had a warrant for his arrest through the Department of Corrections. The driver was arrested and charged with resisting / obstructing an officer.
6/28 @ 5:00 p.m.- West Bend Police contacted JPD to report that a West Bend man had admitted to stealing 10 cans of baby formula from Walgreens in Jackson. This matter was investigated, and charges referred to the District Attorney.

May 2 – We responded to a motorcycle crash on Hwy 45. The single occupant was thrown from the motorcycle and sustained serious injuries. He was taken to a local hospital. The rider was cited for operating after revocation, non-registration and other violations.
May 2 at 10:50 p.m.- An officer observed two speeding vehicles on Hwy 45. The first was a 1967 Chevy Camaro SS being operated at 134 m.p.h., and the second vehicle was a 1969 Chevy Impala clocked at 127 m.p.h. Both drivers were cited for speeding with a fine amount of $439.
May 5 at 3:16 a.m. – An officer on patrol found two adults hiding under a pine tree in Jackson Park. They stated they were “sleeping” there. Both were issued citations for violation of park hours.
May 5 at 2:35 p.m.- The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office requested our assistance with locating a prisoner that had fled while out on a Huber work assignment. Gabrielle Bruce was reported to be in the Jackson area. Officers located her on and took her into custody without incident. She was in possession of a controlled substance and charges will be requested. Ms. Bruce was transported to the Washington County Jail.
May 7 at 2:38 p.m.- An officer investigated an internal theft from a local business. The employee was terminated and cited for theft.
May 7 – Officers assisted an individual that was experiencing a mental health crisis. The person was taken into protective custody.
May 9 – Vandalism was reported to machinery at the new Bielinski subdivision on Cedar Creek Road near Jackson Drive. Neighbors are encouraged to contact the Jackson Police Department if they see suspicious activity.
May 18, at 8:32 a.m.- We arrested an adult male for a probation warrant issued by the Department of Corrections. The suspect was argumentative and coughed in the officer’s face while the officer was fastening the suspect’s seatbelt. He was transported to the jail without incident.
May 20- Officers responded to a 911 call for a 1-year-old child that had been left unattended while taking a bath and was found submerged and unconscious in the water. Fortunately, the child regained consciousness prior to EMS arrival. The child was transported by the Jackson Fire Department to Froedtert West Bend, and then to Children’s Hospital. This matter is under investigation.
May 26- Officers were called to a local business after it was reported that a woman was acting “weird”, and a part from her car had fallen off in the parking lot. Officers contacted the woman and she was cited for Operating While Revoked.
May 23 – Officers responded to a report of a 28-year-old male that was not breathing. Upon arrival at the scene, the officers observed signs of a drug-overdose. Officers administered three doses of Narcan, an opiate antidote and the victim was revived. The victim was transported to Froedtert West Bend by the Jackson Fire Department. Criminal charges are pending.
May 28- Officers responded to a hit-and- run crash at the Piggly Wiggly. The driver of a Dodge Caravan was captured on video striking a parked vehicle causing moderate damage. The driver then fled the scene. Photos of the suspect vehicle were posted to our Facebook page. With the assistance of a local resident that enhanced the photos for us, we were able to identify the suspect and a citation was issued for hit and run.
May 30- Officers responded to an individual that was experiencing a mental health crisis. The person picked up a knife and asked officers to shoot the person. The person was taken into protective custody without incident.

4/2 12:20 a.m. – Officers responded to a report of suspicious people at Piggly Wiggly. Three adults were found digging through garbage cans looking for cigarette butts. Two were cited for underage drinking and one was referred for bail jumping due to an open criminal case that required absolute sobriety.
4/4 6:50 a.m. – Multiple arrests were made in connection to a suspected Fentanyl overdose-death which occurred in the village on April 4, 2020. These charges are the result of a thorough and complex criminal investigation and a collaborative effort between the Jackson Police Department, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and Medical Examiner’s Office, the Milwaukee Police Department and the Washington County District Attorney’s Office. 4/6 9:21 p.m. – Officers responded to a reported domestic disturbance. After an investigation was conducted, no arrests were made.
4/6 10:51 p.m. – Officers responded to a report of a juvenile that became ill and required medical attention after smoking marijuana. This matter is under investigation.
4/16 12:30 p.m.- Main Street Mart reported a theft of fuel. The driver of the vehicle had placed stolen license plates on the suspect vehicle. This matter is under investigation.
4/16 11:45 a.m. Piggly Wiggly reported a theft of lobster tails and crab legs. The suspect was identified based on photos that we posted to our Facebook page. Charges are pending.
4/17 1:27 p.m.- A resident called the Police Department to report that two guitars had been stolen from his storage unit. The guitars were located on Facebook Marketplace for sale. Officers set up an appointment to see the guitars and found them to be the same ones that had been reported stolen. Officers arrested the 47-year-old West Bend man. They also identified him as a suspect in an unsolved burglary and theft from 2019. Charges were filed with the Washington County District Attorney’s Office.

3/3 – A caller reported two suspicious people at a local restaurant that appeared to be under the influence. Evidence of drug use was located in their vehicle. An adult male was arrested for Operating While Under the Influence (OWI, 2nd offense) and cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.
3/4- A theft in progress was reported at the Main Street Mart. An adult male placed three large bottles of alcohol in his pants and fled the store. Officers located him near McDonald’s, and he was taken into custody. A search of his property revealed stolen property from Walgreens. The man was issued several citations.
3/5- An officer on patrol stopped a vehicle for a seatbelt violation. The officer could smell the odor of burnt marijuana in the vehicle. The driver turned over a small amount of marijuana and a pipe. He was arrested for operating with a detectable amount of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
3/6- An adult woman was arrested for obstructing and bail jumping.
3/14- Officers responded to a report that two adults were fighting and that shots had been fired. An adult man was detonating shotgun shells with a vice and household tools and demanded that officers shoot him. He was taken into custody and charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. Additional charges are pending related to the possession of ammunition by a felon.
3/15- Officers responded to a report of an impaired driver on Main Street. The male driver was located and had been drinking. He had four passengers in the vehicle that were under the age of 12. He was arrested for Operating While Under the Influence (OWI, 4th Offense) with minor passengers and taken to jail.
3/15- An adult woman was cited for battery after she punched another adult woman in the face.

2/3- An officer took a report of a stolen vehicle by an acquaintance. The suspect was eventually located and arrested for a probation warrant. During the arrest, the officer located a small bag of methamphetamine in the suspect’s wallet. The adult woman was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail.
2/5- Officers responded to a 911 call of a possible domestic disturbance. An adult male was arrested for a warrant and transported to the jail.
2/6- On February 6, 2020 at 2:28 p.m., the Jackson Police Department received a report of a stolen vehicle traveling southbound on U.S. Highway 45. The driver, a 22-year-old West Bend man had a warrant for his arrest. A Jackson Police Officer observed the vehicle traveling southbound on U.S. Highway 45 approaching State Highway 60 in the Village of Jackson. The suspect vehicle exited onto the off-ramp for State Highway 60 at a high rate of speed and crashed into a guardrail on the off-ramp.
The driver sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash. He was transported by the Jackson Fire Department to Froedtert West Bend, and subsequently flown by Flight for Life to Froedtert Milwaukee. The Jackson Police Department was assisted at the scene by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and the Jackson Fire Department. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office Accident Reconstruction Team was requested to respond to the scene and reconstruct the crash.
2/8- At 1:56 a.m., an officer on patrol observed a vehicle drive into a curb, causing damage to the vehicle. The driver, a 36-year-old Hartford woman, was arrested for OWI (1st). Her preliminary breath test was .147. Her seven-year-old daughter was a passenger in the vehicle. Arrangements were made for the child and the woman was taken to the Washington County Jail.
2/9- Officers investigated a domestic disturbance between two adults. An adult male was arrested and transported to the jail for domestic disorderly conduct and battery.
2/9- Officers investigated another domestic disturbance between two adults. An adult woman was arrested and transported to the jail for domestic disorderly conduct.
2/10- Officers responded to a report that an adult woman was intoxicated and had two open felony cases in which she had been ordered to maintain absolute sobriety. The officers found the woman hiding in a bedroom at the residence and took her into custody. She was charged with two counts of felony bail jumping.
2/14- An officer observed a vehicle travelling 58-m.p.h. in a 35-m.p.h. zone at 12:20 a.m. The officer stopped the vehicle and noted that the driver appeared to be intoxicated. Field sobriety testing was conducted (PBT .103). The driver was arrested for Operating While Under the Influence (3rd offense).
2/14- An officer stopped a vehicle that was operating with defective brake lamps. The driver had a revoked license and was in possession of drug paraphernalia. He was cited and released to a valid driver.
2/15- An officer on patrol observed a vehicle with a suspended registration. The driver also had a suspended driver’s license. The driver was found to be in possession of prescription medications that she didn’t have a prescription for. Multiple citations / charges are pending.
2/15- we arrested an adult woman after she threw a glass mug at her 16-year-old daughter, causing injury. The woman resisted arrest and kicked at the officers but was taken into custody without incident. While at the hospital receiving medical clearance, the woman scratched an Emergency Department nurse. She was eventually transported to the jail, and multiple charges are pending.
2/19- A theft of tools was reported missing from a garage in Main Street. The resident had forgotten to close the garage door overnight. This matter is under investigation.
2/20- at 11:14 a.m., an adult woman caused a vehicle crash on Ridgeway Drive and then fled the scene. She was later located in another area of the village after getting her vehicle stuck in a snowbank. She was arrested for Operating While Under the Influence (2nd Offense), Bail Jumping and two warrants. We are awaiting blood test results, but this is believed to be a drug-impaired driving arrest.
2/20- We responded to several reports of residences that were shot with BB guns on Thursday evening in the area of Hawthorn Drive and Hemlock Street. Anyone with information on these incidents is asked to call the Jackson Police Department at (262) 677-4949.
2/23- We assisted the Washington County Sheriff’s Office with an Operating While Under the Influence (6th offense) arrest which occurred in the Village.
2/23- An officer was dispatched to a report of a reckless driver entering the Village. The officer located the vehicle and noted that the driver appeared to be intoxicated and had urinated on himself. Field sobriety testing was conducted (PBT .142) and the driver was arrested for OWI (1st offense).
2/28- A two-vehicle rollover crash snarled traffic on Highway 60 on Friday morning. Minor injuries were reported and crews from JPD, JFD and DPW worked to clear the area as quickly as possible.

1/7, The Milwaukee Police Department called to inform us that they recovered a firearm that had been reported stolen in Jackson in 2017. This matter is under investigation.
1/1, Officers responded to a domestic disturbance and arrested an out -of-control adult woman, that had attacked her father.
1/4, Officers assisted an elderly woman that was outside not dressed for the weather. She was taken into protective custody.
1/5, An adult male was arrested after violating the terms of his bond.
1/8, An adult woman was called in for loitering and approaching customers at the Main Street Mart. She provided a false name to the responding officer. She was arrested for obstructing, two counts of bail jumping, and a drug violation. She also had a warrant from the Milwaukee Police Department.
1/10, A suspicious man was observed at the East Side Mart and then at the Village Mart when both were closed. When an officer contacted the man, it was discovered the man was intoxicated (PBT .325). The driver was arrested for 5th offense OWI and taken to jail.
1/10, A resident purchased $4,500 in gift cards and provided the numbers and PINs to a caller who said she was facing jail for terrorist activities and a vehicle rented in her name was found to have cocaine in it. The resident eventually realized it was a scam. This is a common scam that unsuspecting victims often fall victim to.
1/14, An adult male was arrested after repeatedly punching his mother in the face.
1/13, A woman was issued a citation for failing to notify the police of an accident after she had struck a vehicle on Georgetown Drive and left the scene. An officer investigating the crash was able to match up pieces that had been left behind at the crash scene with the woman’s car thanks to an alert citizen’s tip.
1/15, An adult male was arrested for his contempt of court warrant at his residence.
1/19, JPD officers responded to a call of a heroin overdose. The responding officers administered Narcan, an opiate antidote to the unconscious 24-year-old victim. The victim was revived and transported to a local hospital for treatment, and eventually to the jail.
1/20, During the overnight hours, an alert resident noticed activity on her Ring Doorbell. The video footage showed a juvenile attempting to enter her vehicle in an attached carport. She immediately dialed 911 and Officer Oswald responded and located the juvenile. We’d like to remind our citizens that this type of activity can happen at any time of year. This was a good reminder to lock your vehicles and secure valuables inside your residence.
1/24, Probation and Parole asked us to arrest a man that had several warrants for his arrest. He was arrested and taken to the jail.
1/26, A vehicle was observed traveling through a roundabout faster than the average traffic and rapidly accelerated on Hwy 45, operating at a speed in excess of 89 MPH. The female driver was ultimately arrested for OWI (1st offense, PBT .166) and cited for unreasonable and imprudent speed.
1/28, An adult male was arrested after officers responded to a violent domestic disturbance.
1/29, An officer responded to a report of an erratic driver. The officer located the vehicle. The vehicle initially did not stop for the officer but eventually came to a stop. The driver had been drinking heavily and had urinated on himself because he was scared. The driver was arrested for OWI (3rd Offense, PBT .221) and taken to jail.
1/29, Officers investigated a report that a 72-hour no contact order was violated following a domestic disturbance. An arrest was made.
1/30, An adult woman was arrested after stealing her friend’s debit card and using it to make purchases at Wal-Mart.
1/31, An officer on patrol observed a vehicle operating without its taillights on. The 17-year-old driver had been drinking. She was arrested for OWI (1st, PBT .094). The driver was also cited for possessing tobacco (vapes), marijuana and drug paraphernalia. After processing, she was released to her parents.

12/1- A traffic stop was conducted on a suspicious vehicle. The driver was arrested for an absolute sobriety violation, having open intoxicants in the vehicle and no insurance. The juvenile passenger was cited for underage drinking, curfew and having open intoxicants in the vehicle.
12/1- An adult man was arrested for a domestic violence incident after a physical confrontation with his wife.
12/2- A complaint at a local motel resulted in criminal charges. An adult man with two open cases for other crimes had been ordered to maintain absolute sobriety. When the officer spoke to him, they noticed that he had been drinking. Charges are pending with the Washington County District Attorney’s Office.
12/3- Officers responded to a report of a disorderly adult woman at a residence. The woman was screaming, slamming doors and was uncooperative with the officers. She was arrested for disorderly conduct and transported to the jail.
12/5- An adult man was arrested following a violent domestic disturbance.
12/6 – An adult man was taken into protective custody.
12/6- A suspicious person complaint was received regarding a woman acting suspiciously at a local gas station. When the officer contacted her, she gave a false name. The officers determined her real identity and she had two warrants for her arrest. She was transported to the jail.
12/8- An officer on patrol observed a vehicle swerving. The adult woman driver was arrested for Operating While Under the Influence (2nd offense) and Operating While Revoked. She was transported to the jail.
12/12- An officer on patrol stopped a vehicle for expired registration. The driver dropped a blue Adderall pill out of the window, which was later recovered. A small bag of marijuana and a pipe were found in the vehicle. The driver was arrested and transported to the jail.
12/12- JPD assisted the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and other departments with a drug interdiction patrol on Interstates 41/45. A Jackson Officer initiated a traffic pursuit with a vehicle that was travelling over 100 mph. The pursuit ended when other departments were able to “spike” the driver’s tires, twice. The suspect, a 27-year-old Menasha man attempted to flee on foot but was quickly apprehended and transported to jail. The man was on parole for homicide and had a warrant for his arrest. Numerous charges are pending at the Washington County District Attorney’s Office.
12/13- A witness reported seeing a vehicle operating with a sign with a cement base stuck under it. The officer located the vehicle and the driver was sleeping in the driver’s seat. The sign was still stuck under the vehicle and had been dragged several blocks. The man was arrested for Operating While Under the Influence (4th offense) and transported to the jail.
12/22- An internal theft case was investigated from a local business. An employee of the local business was cited for theft.
12/22- Officers arrested an adult man at the scene of a domestic violence incident.
12/25- An adult woman was intoxicated and kicked a brand-new television. She fled the residence prior to the officer’s arrival. Several days later she was arrested for felony bail jumping and domestic disorderly conduct.
12/30- An adult man was arrested for Operating While Under the Influence (3rd offense), domestic disorderly conduct and a warrant after a violent domestic disturbance at a local motel.
